1 year agoKnocked one star off for accuracy. The gun has not jammed, likely due to wide tolerances. A group at 20 yards was all over the target. The chamber seems to be vary wide. A fired 9mm casing easily wiggles in the chamber. Replaced the barrel with an Ed Brown and the group tightened up to a couple inches at 35 yards. The sights are plastic but work fine. You get what you pay for.

1 year agoThis is a nice 1911, I love the high vis front and rear fiber optic sights. But I had to give it one less star because the pistol arrived with the front sight loose in it's dovetail slot, so now I'll need to get that fixed before I can shoot it. Not a major thing, but I expected better based on the quality of this gun.

1 year agoThis is a great shooting gun and looks and feels like a true 1911. The sights light up and are easy to see even in low light. The guns smooth action, feels very stable in the hand and is very accurate out of the box. I feel like the extras added to this mid-level pistol are added value for the price. I enjoy shooting it. If I had one con it would be the weight at 2.5 pounds but this is consistent across all these Chiappa Firearms whether it's a 9mm or 45. I think it's because I'm used to the composite 9mm's. It looks great and everyone wants to shoot it.

1 year agoBought this pistol at the PSA Greenville, S.C. location on Monday Dec 7, 2020. I brought it home and cleaned it and took it to an outdoor range on 12/8/2020. The gun would not fire, not even any slight indentation on the primer. Further examination revealed a buggered firing pin stop, in that it was too large to fit properly in the slide. I had to "hand fit" the firing pin stop, as the firing pin could not be actuated as it came from the factory. I was aware that this pistol could have some
