Charter’s Pathfinder is a great introductory revolver for the novice shooter. It has the look, feel and weight of a higher-caliber revolver, allowing you to gain proficiency while using relatively inexpensive .22 Magnum ammo. The .22 pathfinder can turn a few tin cans into an afternoon of fun. Target model also available with 4 inches barrel and adjustable rear sight.

1 year agoThe chamber mech is a little stiff when opening to reload. Other than that love the gun. Put about 150 rounds through it. Was happy with the accuracy at 10 and 20 ft. I would recommend.

1 year agoJust tried out. Trigger pull was heavy enough that my wife had trouble pulling it. Cylinder crane felt rough when hinging out for loading. Spent shells sometimes stuck in cylinder after firing. Accuracy seemed poor, although some inaccuracy could have been my fault. Sights basically useless, but this snubby is not intended for target shooting. Will probably serve my purposes for (better than nothing) self defense needs.

1 year agowaited a long time to get one of these 22 mags but taking out to the range was a disappointing day. Had issues with Winchester ammo cylinder locked up shooting only 3 rounds every time I reloaded it locked up. CCI maxi mags worked better no more snags. 2nd issue cases do not want to eject had to push plunger on the shooting table to get shells to get out. oiled the heck out of cylinder but no effect on ejecting shells. I looked into reviews seems these are issues that have been going on for past 10 years

1 year agoFinish was good. Grip was low quality but worked. I immediately had to send it back to factory for repair for cylinder gap at over 10 thousands off and timing bad in 2 cinders. CA service above par. They took it back with prepaid overnight label.

1 year agoFeels good, looks good, double action is good but single action is so-so, the hammer travels too far back and makes it to handle, all else is good.

1 year agoLove mine. Super easy to conceal. Plenty of pop. Not the most accurate gun I own. But it'll do in a pinch.

1 year agoGood looking and good fit to my hand. In my one trip to the range,so far, the gun shot perfectly single action, however double action one round in each load failed to shoot. In my next trip to the range i need to to see if that was a random ammo thing or if the gun has a problem with the same location in the cylinder.

1 year agoThe trigger pull is really hard but with a lighter hammer spring it works great. The spring is like $15. With tax and shipping.

1 year agoThe gun buying experience was easy and professionally handled. The Charter Arms 22 mag revolver has a substantial feel and quality about the construction and packaging that was better than expected. Even though the price was very reasonable, I believe the gun to be a great value when compared to other manufacturers making similar revolvers.

1 year agoJust like the other Charter Arms revolvers I own it just shoots. And shoots, and shoots! Probably have 500 rounds thru this weapon and no hick-ups. Thanks Charter Arms!!!

1 year agoVery nice weapon. The trigger is stiff and difficult for my wife to pull. It is accurate at self defense ranges. SW service was exceptional.
