Charter’s verstile Pathfinder, available in .22 LR, is a great introductory revolver for the novice shooter or anyone who needs a low recoil revolver. It has the look, feel and weight of a higher-caliber revolver, allowing you to gain proficiency while using relatively inexpensive .22 ammo. The .22 pathfinder can turn a few tin cans into an afternoon of fun.

1 year agoThis gun is built well, shoots well. Went to the range with my son, he liked the Pathfinder as well. Price is fantastic for a revolver of this quality. MADE IN AMERICA! Not my first purchase from Grab A Gun, like this place, give ‘em a shot.(Sorry, couldn’t,t resist.)

1 year agoVery accurate. Problem is the trigger and hammer both started sticking after the first 8 rounds. Had to send it back to the manufacturer. We’ll see.....

1 year agoI've sent mine back to Charter 2x now. It wasn't cycling the cylinder properly with either single nor double action. The brass would stick in the cylinder to the point I though they were never coming out. Once the gun cooled they fell right out. Charter did get it fixed after 2 trips to the warranty department. They aligned the cylinder and honed the chambers. I'm thankfully of that. Customer service seems good but I'm thinking there are quality issues when first shipped.

1 year agoI decided to get this because I saw mixed reviews on the Walther and did not like the Browning's design but I wanted something to shoot cheap at the range...... and 1) it is comfortable in my hands and 2) easy to shoot. Pulling the hammer back 100 times was effortless. My groupings were non-existent. I definitely need to adjust the sights but that does not account for how all over the place my shots were. I don't know what was going on. Will need to take it again and see what happens. I

1 year agoIts a handful with the hot ammo and it a pleasure not having to use the moon clip, I used it to qualify on my CHL and scored 100% with some light loads a made for it.

1 year agoGood quality for the price, I'm happy with the stainless finish and build quality. Feels good in my hands. If it were a higher priced brand like S&W I might opt for walnut grips but the stock grippy rubber type are quite decent. I would have bought the same type .22 LR revolver with a bit shorter barrel but they were not available when this one showed up. Pros & cons of various barrel lengths. A snub nose certaily would not be very practical in .22 LR for what I want as a plinker.
