Introducing the Charter Arms .45 ACP caliber Pitbull. The unique design provides a dual coil spring assembly located in the extractor which allows for the insertion and retention of the .45 ACP caliber cartridge in each chamber of the revolvers’ cylinder. (No moon clips required) This patented system allows the shooter ease of ejecting spent cartridges for immediate reloading. Charter Arms has taken the difficulty of rimless loading and ejection to the simplicity of the rimmed cartridge in the revolver industry. Blacknitride is a new, proprietary process that adds hardness to the finish of the revolver. It also reduces friction and wear. With a scratch-resistant surface and extended life in the rifling and chambers, Blacknitride keeps your Charter handgun looking – and working – like new.

1 year agoI absolutely love this revolver! I purchased it to be my purse carry firearm, as we all know a pistol isn't the best choice. I did need to change the grip to a pachmeyer, for better recoil absorption. My husband keeps trying to take it away from me. Sooner rather than later, we WILL be buying another, so he can have his own!

1 year agoI like the concept of a 5-shot .45acp. The front sight needs lowered about 1.5mm, which is fine. It is possible to load rapidly using a 7.62nato 5-rd stripper clip as a speed strip if the ejector rod is pushed in slightly to unlock the extractor, then all pressed down together. on mine cylinder rotation and lockup are questionable, may be a timing problem; I have not decided whether to send it back to charter for adjustment. single action trigger is excellent.

1 year agoGuns.com is the simplest, no hassle and least expensive way to buy guns. This was my first time using this company and they Exceeded my expectations. They did all the work and in 36 hours I got a call from my local gun shop and picked up the gun an hour later. I have had a CCP for 30+ years so I was able to pick up my purchase the same day. 1 year agoGun looks great. No dings, nor scratches, nor scuffs, nor bends or twists, nor rust. All the action was in working order, it was stiff but that is because the gun still needs broken in. (It was a brand new gun) I've not had the chance to shoot the gun yet, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't function. It was slightly ...Read More Read more about review stating Purchased Pitbull Guns.com

1 year agoSolidly put together but the unique thing here is a revolver that fires 40 S&W without moonclips. Happy to use guns.com to source this pistol in another state.

1 year agoTook it to the range today for first time. Functions flawlessly. The ejector system very cool, but quite stiff when reloading after continuous rounds, ( 15 ). Very accurate at 10 yards. Dead on at 5 yards. Very manageable recoil. Crisp trigger pull for DA. Very pleased with this weapon. As always Palmetto made the whole process easy and quick.
