Chiappa Firearms 1911-22 Standard .22lr Pistol, Blue – 401.038

This actual isn't a VERY bad 22lr pistol, depending on PRICE. Now, I would get the gsg for a little more money, but this one has essentially run flawlessly through 200 rounds and have had only a few issues during that time, (typical 22lr problems). If you don't want to spend the extra 30-50$ on the gsg, then this should be fine. I was able to mod the mag just a bit, now it holds 12 instead of 10, that has made it a bit more fun.

Love it! it doesn't like lead round nose ammo. The qa personel seem to be very liberal with their specs. . despite the loooooose specs., it still performs ok for the price. ( i'm speaking as a retired goverment machinist. who used to make the adapter parts for the ar-15's to 22 cal.) the barrel has the appearance of being finished with a hand file. At first, i was dissapointed, but now, have become to like them very much.

Don’t let the low price fool you — this little 1911 knockoff performs flawlessly, as long as you feed it quality high velocity ammo (1250 ft/sec or better.) It’s also a snap to field strip and clean, too.

I'm satisfied with this little sidearm. Many YouTube reviews stated this gun was junk but I noticed that the people reviewing it acquired it second-hand.
