Bought this gun so I could start shooting NRL 22 matches and needed a gun my son (12) and I could both shoot. The light weight of the gun makes it easy for him to move between shooting positions and isn’t to heavy when shooting standing, kneeling, sitting, or unsupported prone. Have put about 1000 rounds through it and with Center-x my 5 shot groups are .31. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great entry level gun for shooting matches or using as a PRS trainer.

Out of the box the action was loose and rattled in the stock. It had ejection issues as well and scratched rounds and had hang ups trying to chamber a round. Christensen knows about these issues and my model had a serial number in the 1000s and still sent this out. Their QC is non existent and the weapons they are sending out should not command the priced they charge. It will be the last Christensen Arms product I purchase.

The rifle has several major flaws which have not been addressed despite what they tell you. The bottom metal is not metal its plastic which is prone to cracking just froward of the mag. The rifle has failures to eject regularly and despite the fix they say they have this has not been addressed. The stock is flimsy and poor fitting. I had to bed the rifle and re-machine the bottom metal in aluminum to get the rifle to function properly. Customer service is not great either and of very little help unless you want to give them 6 months.

They should be ashamed of themselves for releasing this. Fit and finish is horrible action is not centered with stock, would not eject a single round from the first shot to 100 rounds not one came out on it’s own claimed sub Moa @50 yds which is .50” @ 50 yards couldn’t get better than a 2” group ammunition used was lapua center X sent it back the first day I owned it what a waste of my points and money my sons Davie Cricket is more accurate and ejects every round and that’s a 100 dollar gun shame on you Christensen Arms. A factory test would have seen the issues before it was sent out.

Brand new straight out of the box this gun would not extract fired cases from the chamber. I emailed Christensen arms and sent the rifle in for repair. Overall the build quality of this rifle is excellent except for the issues. Once this is sorted out I will be happy.

Mounted a Nikon 3x9 rimfire scope, and after about 15 rounds to sight it in I was able to put every shot in the same hole at 50 feet.

This is a very accurate 22 rifle. I’ve shot around 400 rounds of various manufacturers ammo. Not one ejection problem. Functioned flawlessly. The trigger out of the box is set at 4lbs, I adjusted it to 3lbs. I can get a 10 shot group at 55yds in .75”. I also did the suggested barrel break-in. A very nice lightweight rifle.

I was really excited to get this firearm but the rifle had really bad feeding and extracting issues. After talking with Christensen its took them 4 months to get me an RMA because they wouldn't respond. After talking to a manager they said they would get it fixed and expedited. Nope, been 4 weeks, no response after multiple emails, calls go to voicemail and they still have my rifle. Stay away from Christensen Arms, their customer service is garbage and so is this $800 22lr.

Very satisfied!!! It’s light and a tackdriver. From subsonic to supersonic ammo this thing runs it, even the cheap crap. My only issue was with the bolt feeding another round, it’s EXTREMELY tight at first and hard to chamber! Literally took 500 rounds and cycles to smooth it out. Runs like a champ now.

i bought one, love how light it is. i took it out on the first trip with 1 kind of ammo that was "okay" in most of my rifles but not great/ as expected it was okay in this rifle. but while at my trip i was having all kinds of feeding and extracting issues. the rifling seemed to be cut a little short so it was trying to shove the bullet into the rifling and it was rough. i was able to easily contact christensen arms and they were quick. however it was email only and i personally would like to see live customer support. however the return time was right where they said it would be (about 7 weeks) if youve ever had to send guns back they can take time so not really anything to say there. problems have been resolved as far as i can tell. now the stock isnt flimsy, mine is extremely rigid and fit and finish is good, not as good as my CZ 457lux but i would say better than most manufacturers and good for the price with the materials being used(lots of carbon fiber). the trigger itself is.. okay. from factory its a little heavy for my taste but has a good crisp clean break and very little over travel, and very little to no take up. i was still able to take it out to 200 yards with my somewhat inconsistent ammo and with a scope that did not adjust enough to take it out to 200. with about my hand sized group(medium sized gloves). it can shoot better i know it can, with a better rest, better ammo and a better scope i have no doubts its sub MOA.

I've always wanted a high end quality 22, and I definitely found it. I have experienced zero malfunctions of any kind. Trigger is crisp and breaks at 3lbs exactly. Magazine drops clean with no hangups and attaches easily with no fumbling around. The stock is rugged and comfortable yet still light in weight. During barrel break in I used cheap bulk ammo. After mounting a Leupold EFR rifle scope and switching to Eley ammo, this rifle groups about a .25" at 50 paces/yards even in our Nebraska wind. Accompanying photos are a 3/4 MOA spot with a 5 shot group and a single 3 shot group with a dime for size comparison. I would strongly recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a high end firearm.

Yes, it is light. Yes, it is accurate and it uses Ruger 10/22 magazines. No extraction or feeding issues. Buy it, you'll love it.

The good: Looks great, awesome trigger The bad: Dosent want to feed out of 10 round magazines (I tried a bunch, it does feed fine from 15 round mags), anemic sized bolt, handle of bolt has a lot of play where it joins the bolt (feels very loose) The worst: Inaccurate. Ran 12 different ammo types through it at 50 yards, mostly match grade. Best group was 1.3 moa worst was 4.1 moa and averaged 1.74 moa. I did contact customer support and started a RMA. I will update my review with their fix.

Very accurate. I love it however, I gave it only four stars because the bolt sticks and it's already wearing down on the left side. otherwise, a great rifle.

The rifle is well made and light. I'm still working on the accuracy, but it shoots good, but not great. I have some .22 rifles that are very accurate, this isn't one of them.

I Absolutely love this gun. The trigger is phenomenal, and overall it’s more accurate than I am. The fact that it uses Ruger BX magazines is a huge bonus. Using these inexpensive / readily available mags (which I already owned) dramatically reduced the overall cost of this rifle when compared to others. Looks good. Feels good. Shoots great. Zero complaints.

I got this same rifle from sportsmans on black friday of 2021. I followed the correct barrel break-in steps and have this rifle shooting MOA at 100 Yards with a Mystic 9 CAN and subsonic cci40gr HP. Not only is it dead on, its a great rifle for hunting because its such a light setup its enjoyable to hike with. ONLY ISSUE I have encountered was when I first got the rifle. I noticed the bolt would lock up and not seat down into battery without ammo in it. So I just greased it and worked the action
