Christensen Arms Ridgeline Burnt Bronze Bolt Action Rifle – 270 Winchester – 4+1 Rounds – Offering the performance advantages that have defined Christensen’s bolt action rifles, the Ridgeline series are very light weight (6.3 – 6.7-lbs.), durable, and are guaranteed to be capable of sub-MOA accuracy. They’re available in an array of cartridges, so if your hunt takes you to far-off places on foot then there will still be a Ridgeline chambered in something up the task.

1 year agoI bought the Christensen Ridgeline in 270 Winchester. During the barrel break-in I was concerned about the group sizes I was getting because they were awful using Federal 136g Terminal Ascent. Evidently that is an ammunition that my rifle doesn't care for, because the other brand/bullet combinations I have used are all excellent, ie <1 MOA, , including "factory seconds" 130g Federal Trophy Copper, 130g Hornady Superperformace GMX, & 140g Federal Nosler Accubond. I have only used it for one hunting season, so the sample size is small, but with 3 shots I was able to harvest 3 deer, all between 200-300 yards using the 140g Accubond. None of the deer made it more than 10-15 yards after being shot. The bolt seems a little tight in my opinion, but I really don't care about that because it works fine, and it hasn't hindered my shooting. I'm not especially into triggers, nor am I picky about them, so this Triggertech seems fine in my opinion. I didn't notice anything special when shooting with the radial muzzle break, but I use a suppressor so the muzzle break is not a part of the equation anymore. The recoil pad is great and absorbs the recoil nicely. Last but not least the rifle itself is beautiful, but after all aren't all rifles beautiful? Overall the rifle is fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with it.
