1 year agoThe firearm itself is amazing - wonderful fit & finish and is shooting POA/POI with 250gr. Only complaint is that apparently the base frame is the Cattleman II which has a floating/retractable firing pin which in itself would be OK but you lose the 4 clicks - now only 3 - when cocking so no more C-O-L-T. Doesn't affect use or look but do wish it still had the 4 clicks. Would definitely purchase again even with this variance from the original.

1 year agoThis is the best bang for your buck if you dO not want to pay for a CoLt or standard manufacturing saa. The fit is very tight. Lock up is as weLl. Accuracy is great. If it matters it has all four clicks and no hammer safety. You wont find a better Shooter unless its a colt. This is an amazing shooter. Buy it and dont look back. Its worth the penny. 700 rounds down range as of this Review.

1 year agoI am going from Ruger Vaqueros (excellent guns) to Colt clones for my cowboy action shooting and this gun is the best I have ever handled. The action is smooth and light, the grips fit my hand perfectly and the sights are easy to pick up with my aging eyes. I am going to order a second one and retire my Vaqueros.

1 year agoI have never shot or owned a Ruger vaquero but what I could tell you about the Evil Roy from Cimarron is whoever made this firearm put a lot of time into it and got all the little things right. The blue finish is beautiful, the trigger and the thumb are perfectly tuned, it is ready to go out the box whether it's for target practice or competition shooting.

1 year agoI used old model Vaqueros since they came out and thoroughly customized the actions. No problems whatsoever. However, when I tried an Evil Roy, I was hooked! Have two now (45’s [real guns]) and neither has ever been altered. Shoot point of aim! Been using them for over two years with no problems.

1 year agoThe Evil Roy is one of the premier revolers on the market today. The action is fine tuned to compete against the best in Cowboy Action Shooting. An extreme pleasure to shoot. Thank you Cimarron and Evil Roy.
