Cimarron Model P US 7th Cavalry .45 Long Colt Single Action Revolver – CA514M00
The first troops to receive Colt’s new 1873 army revolver in the latter portion of that same year, included Custer’s famed 7th Cavalry. Cimarron’s 7th Cavalry model in .45 Colt is another great historical reproduction inspired by an original in their antique collection. It’s a detail-perfect rendition of the single action of Custer’s ill-fated 7th Cavalry’s, legendary revolver. Each authentic 7 1/2-inch barreled, firearm is properly stamped with Ainsworth’s OWA cartouche on the walnut stock, government proof marks and the inspector’s initials are found in all of the appropriate locations and the last 4 numbers of the serial numbering is on the cylinder, as well as on the color case hardened frame, trigger guard and blued butt strap.

2 years agoAwesome quality, wish the take down screw was like the 1873 though. I’m going to turn one real soon.

2 years agoI bought this because of the history behind these revolvers, not to mention I spent 7 yrs in the Army with 1st Cavalry Division. Cimarron and Uberti hit it out of the park with this one. THE fit and finish are top notch, its an absolutely beautiful revolver. The blueing is dark and even coated. THe case hardened frame is a lot darker on mine than is represented in the stock picture. There are no rough spots or sharp edges on the metal. It is very accurate as the windage is spot on. You won't regret owning one of these.

2 years agoThis was not my first purchase from this site. Again I was not disappointed in the price and delivery.

2 years agoVery nice colt copy. Very well made. Like that it has the two different cylinder pin SCREWs with IT. This is Something you can shoot and enjoy the historic reference it provides.

2 years agoA very good looking copy of the first year issue of the 1873 Colt army, it has the black powder type frame using the cylinder pin that is captured by a screw through the front of the frame. It features THE " four CLICKS " action.

2 years agoSimply fantastic. I’ve wanted this particular gun for a long time. It did not disappoint. Fantastic action, timing, fit / finish! If you can find this in stock, go for it.

2 years agoI am very pleased with the fit and finish of the gun. I like the darker finish on the frame than what is shown on the pictures in the add. The detail work is better i expected. I have not fired the gun yet, but i am sure i will be pleased when i do.

1 year agoPistol shoots really well. Pretty darn accurate. Nice trigger pull. Pistil is finished very well. The marking indicating it is the cavalry model are well done and adds to the appeal. well priced and would recommend to anyone looking for an 1873 SAA.

1 year agoThis 7th Cavalry Cimarron is absolutely beautiful. The case hardening is outstanding against the deeply blued barrel, cylinder and front/back straps. The fit is outstanding (metal to metal and wood to metal fits are perfect). Markings are historically accurate. The action is tight and smooth. Shoots flawlessly. A great investment for anyone interested in old west guns, being an collector or just simply love Peacemaker style weapons. The price compared to that of a real Colt can't be beat. Made by Cimarron F.A. Co./Fredericksburg, Texas /Uberti, Italy.

1 year agoI was awed by the quality and authenticity. The metal and wood fit are outstanding along with the color case hardening. The trip to the range was great although it hit low but was expected. A truly beautiful calvary handgun.

1 year agoExcellent recreation of a Colt Calvary revolver. The wood to metal fit is flawless and has all the correct US and Co I 7th Cav marks. The blue/case hardening is great. Trigger pull is about 3 1/2 lbs. Trips to the range with most groups staying within 3 inches. Great gun.

1 year agoThis high quality pistol is everything it is advertised to be. The action is smooth and crisp. Unfortunately, I haven’t shot it yet

1 year agoI'm really happy with the quality and authentic detail of this gun. Short of finding a perfect condition original 72 Colt this gun is as close as you can get. Workmanship and fit are flawless. I've shot about 75 rounds through it with no problems.

1 year agoI love it fit and finish is beautiful but I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet. I would definitely recommend it to somebody.

1 year agoWhat a great gun to add to my old western gun collection. You won’t be disappointed! The 7 1/2” barrel is good for balance and shoots better than the shorter barrels. The original westerners carried the longer ones too!

1 year agoI have wanted one of these 7th Cavalry replica's for years. Decided to go ahead and buy one with in store pick up from Sportsman's Warehouse. Very easy buying experience. The revolver is great, workmanship and finish are top notch. The replica 7th Cav markings really make this a neat handgun. Recommended!

1 year agoFirearm is beautifully finished including the color case hardening. Action is very smooth. Great option if you are looking for a SAA at an affordable price.

1 year agoThis gun is a beautiful replica of the original colt .45 peacemaker. I have shot 100 rounds so far through this gun and have not had a single misfire. Most surprisingly the accuracy of this fixed sight weapon is reliable. I would recommend any fan of single action army's to check this gun out and consider it.
