The Taurus tracker is the best revolver I have ever owned, and I have owned about 30 revolvers. It is very accurate, and extremely comfortable to shoot with the rubber grips and the ported barrel, even with full power 158 grain 357 mags.. My wife is a bit kick shy, and she loves shooting the tracker.

There are two main features on this gun that sold it for me. Double action is always a plus, so that one is obvious. What really sold me was the ported barrel. When shooting a caliber that large the difference the porting makes is HUGE. Shot side by side with a .44 Ruger Blackhawk I would say there is about a 50% reduction in hand vibration/kick between the ported barrel and the rubber grips. Those features make this gun very easy to handle for its size, shooting more like a .357 but hitting like a .44.

very accurate easy to shoot, it feels like a 357 when I use 44 special rounds, only 5 shots that's why I say it's a great secondary weapon

For the price this 627 tracker trigger feels almost as good as my modern D.W. 715 trigger. Well balanced and fires .357 like a dream. Loud but perceived recoil to me felt like the push of a .45acp. I'm not an expert but have owned many different pistols and currently have H&K45c v7, Glock 26 gen4, Dan Wesson 715 6" and now this Taurus Tracker .357. Reliability is the only question as I've seen it praised and cursed at on the internet. Time will tell but she sure is smooth and extremely accurate even with defense loads.

I really like the gun, but the way the trigger guard comes down at the back slams my middle finger knuckle. Punishing, but someone with smaller hands may not have this issue. If it is snug on your finger when trying it out, you may want to move onto a raging bull, or another brand. Otherwise, it seems very accurate and shoots well.

I've put several hundred rounds through this revolver and not one single hiccup. Stupid accurate and extremely reliable. It's also a 7 shot which is awesome. I highly recommend

I have not fired the revolver yet but very impressed so far with fit and finish and the way it feels in my hands. Hope to take it out to the range soon to test it out.
