Colt 1911 Competition Series 70 45 ACP 8+1 Round Semi Auto Hammer Fired Pistol, Stainless – O1070CCS

This is my second Colt series 70 1911 I have purchased from grabagun, you cant find a better price anywhere else . Both of them are outstanding quality and accurate right out of the box. Grabagun customer service and professionalism is outstanding and what can I say about their inventory-- endless. When I saw my 1st colt 45 and the price I ordered it right away (black) , loved it so much I went ahead and ordered the nickel plated one next..

Although I have not shot this pistol yet, I am very pleased with it. It is a good looking gun and feels good in the hand. I have no complaints thus far. I will know more once I get an opportunity to shoot it.

Awesome weapon and can’t beat the price on grabagun will be buying more!! Shipping was set for 2 day but I got it pretty much overnight. The only thing I could complain about is that Colt changed their offering of two magazines and only comes with one which was disappointing. But she shoots everything that I’ve fed her and she’s gorgeous!

Dealing with Grab A Gun was great as usual. I have some minor gripes with the gun itself, however. First, only one mag is included? give me a break. What year is this? Second, the grip screws look like they came from the hardware section at Lowe's. Third, trigger and grip safety are poorly fit and rattle like crazy. Frankly, I expected more from Colt. I would have gladly paid a few dollars more for little details like this to be addressed. I have only put a few hundred rounds through it so far, but it has proved accurate and reliable so far.Time will tell

I'm very pleased with this 1911. This is my dream gun and I'm very happy , all the things I dream about it is true the trigger is crisp the reset is very short the fiber sight is easy to see and the grip is perfect to my hands.

the look is what sold the gun. also I was interested to see if the dual recoil springs made a difference and They Do Not,. this $900 competition gun shoots the same as my $600 Remington Enhanced 1911. the Colt is in the collection for now, time will tell.

Good feel, really like the brushed stainless finish. After about 8 clips broken in and very comfortable with it. Would recommend to anybody who likes 1911 or large caliber pistols.

Probably my favorite pistol. Extremely accurate and fun to shoot. Excellent trigger. Very nice grip panels.

Colt makes A great gun. CARTRIDGEs GENERALLY come out tO the side unlike a sig Weight is perfect .45 packs a punch, no 9mm for me

Fitting is better than any other semi custom 1911 i have shot or handled. Very ACCURATE and reliable with the nm barrel and witg my threaded barrel

Took SOME time but i caught it just as it was posted at 10:50 am on monday, in my hands At 1 pm on thursday. Way to go grab a gun !

As all my Colts in my collection this gun is capable of shooting far better then I can. It's well made and I have yet to find a blemish. I shoot good ammo so there haven't been any problems there. Colt makes the best.

I had a 1911 guru do some tinkering with it. Got the trigger pull under 3lbs and the mag release easer to use. Only 200 rounds though it so far no malfunctions. Very happy with this weapon.

The gun shoots very well and accurate. Build quality is good not great. Grip safety wiggles. A lot. Feels very cheap there. Would have expected grip screws to be timed to be aligned but that is very cosmetic. The runs and runs well though. Beautiful gun, just had slightly higher expectations in terms of overall fit and finish.

Excellent pistol I am very happy I take it to the range run few boxes of ammo no problem whatsoever.

Fantastic gun. Very accurate, great balance, manageable recoil for a .45 ACP due to its solid steel construction. Also looks great. Highly recommend, it is my favorite handgun.

Great pistol very nice! Feels and looks great in hand, crisp trigger and very accurate. Sent a 100 down range first day and had a FTF on round 100. Took home stripped it down and cleaned again, 0 failures since. I do recommend!

It's my first Colt, always want one. It's beautiful and feels great in my hand. No issue so far after 150rounds. Both Colt and Wilson combat's mags work smoothly. It's very accurate if I did my job.

What a wonderful Colt 45! I love it. Shoots great. I have always wanted a Colt 45 1911 and this one does not disappoint. I show off my colt 1911 Government Competition 45 ACP to everyone and they'll all love it. My 1st 3 shots at the range was all bullseyes. I added my name to the watchlist with Sportsman's and they were great letting me know they had it back in stock.

I am a former Marine and I love this firearm. Bought it last year after drooling over it for six months. Great feel in the hand, accurate, recoil is not bad for a big hog like this. Not for conceal. It's like a Glock but made for men...
