Building on Colt’s Snake Gun legacy, the legendary double-action revolver returns in stainless steel in 6 inches barrel lengths. The 2020 Python features modern stainless steel alloys and a re-designed rear sight. Thirty percent more steel beneath the rear adjustable target sight gives you a stronger revolver and more robust shooting experience. A recessed target crown, user-interchangeable front sight, and Walnut grip with the iconic Colt medallion make this a gun you’ll want to shoot and show off. The Python is chambered in .357 Magnum and also accommodates .38 Special cartridges.

2 years agoBrand new with stainless steel quality. This Colt Python is better than the old version. I am glad I bought it.

1 year agoThis Firearm is the absolute pinnacle of revolvers. Beautiful design, Smooth action, little recoil for a .357. Grip is solid, and the build quality is like a dream. There won't ever be another like it.

1 year agoAn excellent shooting pistol. Nice consistent trigger pull and great balance. Very accurate and a pleasure to shoot.

1 year agoI love it! I’ve been waiting for this for a long time, now I own it! A piece of history that will be handed down for generations.

1 year agoA beautiful piece of workmanship!! You will not be disappointed if you buy one. I have the Colt King Cobra also from Palmetto State and am waiting for the Colt Anaconda to become available from Palmetto.

1 year agoThis is a very nice Python as smooth as the original versions. A nice shooter or a quality revolver worthy of saving as a collector.

1 year agoWill this be offered in the stainless 8 3/8 “ barrel length or is it available now ? I already have the Anaconda in that length and love it. Would like the matching 357 to go with it !!!

1 year agoHaving shot older Colt Pythons (specifically 80s and 90s), the 2021 Python holds its own against the older beasts while reflecting the latest innovations in revolver design. Worth every penny and certainly something that will be passed down through the generations.

1 year agoEasily the nicest pistol I’ve ever owned, of dozens. Very tight, very well made, with a buttery-slick trigger and action. I shoot full-house .357s and is like popping off .22 magnums. Big, heavy, but in an Alaska cross-chest carry holster, it feels great. A terrific gun.

1 year agoBeautiful pistol and smooth shooting! I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this without hesitation.

1 year agoFit and finish are exactly as expected from Colt. Action is very nice ...the only thing it needs is to be taken out and shot repeatedly, that will occur very soon. Smoother out of the box feel than my 1975 model had when new. Would i purchase it again? Without a second thought. If you intend to enjoy it..put some Pachmayer or similar grips on it and store the wooden factory grips. No dislikes ...only change i would like to see is a white outline rear sight as original from the factory.

1 year agoIt's a COLT! This was the first gun (almost- the original was blued) that I ever fired and learned how to shoot with. I'm fairly sure my uncle handed me this to get me to stop bugging him to teach me how to shoot. That idea failed miserably as I've loved shooting ever since. Forty years later I finally got one of my own. (Can't believe my uncle's plan didn't work). With full magnum loads it kicks like a mule, but I love it. The 4 inch would probably be more practical for a concealed

1 year agoOrdered and shipped within days and received by FFL 2 days afterwards. I have an used older (before these were reintroduced) 4" model, and this 6" new Python completes my current collection. Now if only I can find the 8" Anaconda lol.

1 year agoI’m a S&W wheel gun fan but I had to get my mitts on the new Python. I ordered the 6 inch version from PSA and received it in less than two weeks. It is gorgeous. The finish is much better than it’s stainless competitors. Off to the range with with various .357 and .38 ammo. I verified zero at 15yds then moved to various sized steel plates out to 25yds. Trigger is not light, but breaks perfectly and the DA is consistent and smooth. It’s not picky about ammo. Hitting a 4in plate at 25yrds

1 year agoOrdered this at the premium price, nice to see its dropped. It's just great. Smoothe, no issues, great finish. I'm kind of glad they didn't offer it in 8" as I I'd have bought one of each. Goes well with the Anaconda.

1 year agoThe Colt Python was on my bucket list for along long time. I finally got mine!!! All I can say is this gun is the absolute best revolver I have ever owned. Superb accuracy and great quality are trademark of owning a Colt. If you can afford the high price buy this gun. Mine is so awesome!!!! # you'll love it!!!@

1 year agoNew in the bag. All the tags still on. That’s why I bought here and not the local shop. Beautiful gun. Buy one if you want one.

1 year agoMagnificent metal workmanship. Polish is not as stunning as my original Ultimate Python had but it’ll do. The gunsmithing and ergonomics however are lacking. Trigger sucks out of box and I’ve started dry firing drills, with Snap Caps, to help break it in. Rear sight is a joke and actually fell apart during dry firing. Luckily I found the blade and windage screw. If it had happened at a range they may have been lost with no original parts easily or reasonably priced to be found. Willson
