The Cascade is CVA’s first ever bolt-action centerfire rifle. Long the leader in both muzzle-loading rifles and single-shot centerfires, CVA has applied it’s nearly 50 years of experience into making what they feel to be the best bolt-action on the market at $600 or below. The Cascade’s 4140 carbon steel barrel is finished in Cerakote Flat Dark Earth. The series features a threaded muzzle, making it ready for a brake or suppressor whenever you are. The bolt design incorporates a 70 degree throw for smooth and fast operation, plus generous scope clearance. The two-position safety is conveniently located for natural and instantaneous operation. And loading is a breeze with its four round, flush fit, detachable magazine (extra magazines available from CVA). Their own synthetic stock is fiber-glass reinforced and has a SoftTouch finish, in Veil Wideland camo, for easy gripping, even in the harshest weather conditions. The buttstock has adjustable length of pull by way of a removable spacer, making the Cascade an ideal gun for small-statured adults or even the full-sized hunter who wants to shorten his stock to accommodate heavy winter clothing. And dual front swivel studs allow for the use of both a sling and a bi-pod at the same time. Scoping up the Cascade is a breeze, as it is compatible with all two piece mounts built for the Savage 110 AccuTrigger models.

2 years agoLove the rifle. One of the better shooters I have.. Fit and finish are Great. Mags could be better, bullets do not like to stay in it some times. When I was at the Range I had to load 2 rds. 3 seem to give it problems. Over all I am very Satisfied.. Very accurate and delivers on its Sub MOA statement.

2 years agoWhat a sweet shooter right out of the box! I bought this rifle because I wanted something with a little less recoil than my 300 win mag for deer. I wasn't let down at all. I have a muzzle brake but I haven't installed it and I'm over 60 shots deep. I finished the break in guidelines I found in the owners manual and shot a 5 shot group at 200. I even had one shot I flinched on and I'm still close to 1 MOA at 200. I can't recommend this rifle enough. I am taking it in the high country after Mule Deer and I will report back if my mind changes. I love this rifle.

1 year agoLove it! Shooting .6" groups at 100 with hornady 6.5 prc match ammo. Only downside is with such a hot load barrel heats up after about 4-5 shots. But that's to be expected with such a light barrel contour.

1 year agoThis is the second cascade I've bought haven't shot it yet. But if it shoots like the other one I have it will be a tack driver I can shoot 1 inch groups at 200 yards. The first one I bought is in 6.5 Creedmoor. The new one is in 22-250
