The Cascade is CVA’s first ever bolt-action centerfire rifle. Long the leader in both muzzle-loading rifles and single-shot centerfires, CVA has applied it’s nearly 50 years of experience into making what they feel to be the best bolt-action on the market at $600 or below. The Cascade’s 4140 carbon steel barrel is finished in Cerakote Flat Dark Earth. The series features a threaded muzzle, making it ready for a brake or suppressor whenever you are. The bolt design incorporates a 70 degree throw for smooth and fast operation, plus generous scope clearance. The two-position safety is conveniently located for natural and instantaneous operation. And loading is a breeze with its four round, flush fit, detachable magazine (extra magazines available from CVA). Their own synthetic stock is fiber-glass reinforced and has a SoftTouch finish, in Veil Wideland camo, for easy gripping, even in the harshest weather conditions. The buttstock has adjustable length of pull by way of a removable spacer, making the Cascade an ideal gun for small-statured adults or even the full-sized hunter who wants to shorten his stock to accommodate heavy winter clothing. And dual front swivel studs allow for the use of both a sling and a bi-pod at the same time. Scoping up the Cascade is a breeze, as it is compatible with all two piece mounts built for the Savage 110 AccuTrigger models.

1 year agoHavent shot it yet, ammo is hard to get currently. But looks are great, feels great and excited to use it.

1 year agoLooks and feels good. Bolt is smooth and chambers a round easily. Great trigger. Safety is a little stiff when you put it back into the safe position is my only complaint.

1 year agoThe gun came straight from CVA with some cerakote marring, not extensive. The mounting system was not pictured but showed up on the rifle. The rails that work for the rifle (if 2 piece) need to be for savage accutrigger models but you can only buy the CVA one pice rail apparently and CVA is sold out. Everything is pretty high quality. Trigger set screw will come loose or shows up loose. Watch for that.

1 year agoHave not able to shoot it, Looks very nice, functions ammo with no issues. Only complaint is that the stock is not centered on the barrel. Smooth action and coating.

1 year agoThe rifle shoots great. Was surprised with the lack of recoil from a 300 win mag. Shoots sub moa groups. My son shot it also and is now looking to buy same rifle.

1 year agoWith the firearms market flooded with "Sub MOA" guns its hard to know or choose what you want vs what you need. CVA delivers a "Sub MOA" cheeper and better built then any other firearms under $850 dollars. Fit, finish and action smoothness are on par with any rifle maker in the $1K class. If you are in the market for a "hunting" rifle that you can depend on and will deliver acuracy right of of the box, you should consider the CVA Cascade. Its a gun I would take on public land self guided

1 year ago.38 five shot group with factory 150 grain not much needs said..... extra mags are cheaper than most others. Things I'm not a fan of is the poly trigger guard and the trigger set screw is wobbly probably should be loctite it in and the stickers leave marks in the cerakote finish.

1 year agoI ordered this cva cascade in 300 win mag. The rifle arrived at my local sportsman’s warehouse a day early. I picked it up first thing in the morning, took it home and mounted a vortex 4-12x44 scope on it. Being impatient of course, headed straight to the range. Rifle was zeroed in 5 rounds and the recoil was slightly less than expected. Great shooting rifle. I can’t wait to take it to Colorado this fall for elk.

1 year agoThis is the second cascade I've bought haven't shot it yet. But if it shoots like the other one I have it will be a tack driver I can shoot 1 inch groups at 200 yards. The first one I bought is in 6.5 Creedmoor. The new one is in 22-250
