The CASCADE XT (X-Treme) is the new precision-oriented member of the CASCADE family. Several key features make it the perfect multiple purpose rifle for many hunters. First, the heavier # 5 taper fluted barrel adds stability and improves balance, while also allowing the rapid firing of multiple shots without accuracy loss due to excessive barrel heating. Next, the radial muzzle brake greatly reduces recoil, making the XT very comfortable to shoot both on the range and in the field, even in heavier calibers. Lastly, the XT’s tactical-style bolt knob provides better leverage for faster manipulation of the bolt, especially from the prone position.

1 year agoShot 100 rounds to fire from brass and break in barrel. Just picking a load with no load development and after sighting in scope shot under 1 inch in almost all groups. The average group size was about .65”

1 year agoDon't buy this gun in 6.5prc. They use a long action and a long mag that doesn't have appropriate feed lips. I and others get double feeds constantly. All else is top notch, but I don't trust the gun.

1 year agoThis is the second CVA rifle I’ve purchased. I was very happy with Cascade so when the Cascade XT came out I had to get one.
