2 years agoI picked up a scout .243, so we can practice and get comfortable with it before going deer hunting in a couple seasons. So far I’ve been pretty impressed with it. The rifling looks great, it’s not too heavy, won’t beat him up, will work fine for his lefty brother later, and seems pretty accurate. Truth be told I (6’1”) have no problem getting comfy on the compact stock. I’m not really into shooting coyotes and prairie dogs, but I’m sure it’ll work just fine for that too.

2 years agoI like this little gun. Small, light, easy to carry and plenty accurate. Put a 2x7 Vortex scope on it. Might should have put on a 3x9 but I rarely shoot past 150 yards. I suggest putting on a medium high or high set of rinds as low is just that…..too low and doesn’t give you enough clearance to work the hammer efficiently. Like the gun.
