The SCOUT V2 is very similar in design to the APEX centerfire rifle, but without the interchangeable barrel capability. So, for the hunter who wants a high quality single shot rifle in only one caliber, the SCOUT V2 is the ideal choice. Sleek, lightweight, and easy to operate, the SCOUT V2 sets a new standard for affordable single shot hunting rifles.

1 year agoAwesome deer rifle for heavy brush and sub 200 yd shots. Paired with a Nikon slughunter 3x9 and shoots .75 inch groups @ 100 yds. Added a slip on recoil pad for longer length of pull and now less recoil than a 12 gauge.

1 year agoA real nice single shot rifle fit and finish is good gun balances well for its price range still breaking barrel in but seems like it is going to be a shooter 444 let’s you know you pulled the trigger gun is very load but fun to shoot I would recommend this gun if a single shot is what your looking for

1 year agoThis is a good rifle for hunting deer in my area. But I bought it for shooting steel at 200 to 500 yards just for fun. I have intentions to put long rang iron sights on it for that reason. Right now I just have an old Redfield wide view 3x9 on it. It will shoot my handloads sub moa. Just make sure you remove the base and clean the rail holes very good and use lock tight on them.

1 year agoI Love this rifle for several reasons. Barrel is 1-20 twist, ballard cut rifling.,not the 1-38 microgroove found on most Marlin lever guns. The most readily available ammo in 444 is Hornady LeveRevolution 265 grain FTX, it requires a 1-20 twist rate. Hornady has discontinued the 265 grain FP. If you handload, you don't have to shorten the cases by 150 thousands below SAMMI Specs (per Hornady load manual) to fit into a Marlin Lever Gun. You can use full length cases. This break action can hold

1 year agoOK, without having shot it yet everything about it seems very nice including the trigger. It is light and handy. I thought the barrel was a little thicker and heavier but it's still better than most It reminds me of my old NEF single shots chats. I love those of those.

1 year ago-Ran great - super quiet with subsonic and subsonic ammo - smaller than expected - fit well in my arms and had a nice feel

1 year agoI'm very pleased. Fit and finish is excellent, good trigger, and even the plastic furniture feels fairly solid. The attached group photo was taken at 50 yards with AAC 220gr (was not subsonic in this rifle, avg 1123 fps, SD 21 ES 42), using a PA 1-6 ACSS. It'll do!
