For the hunter who wants a high-quality single shot rifle, the SCOUT is the ideal choice. Its sleek, lightweight, and easy to operate design sets a new standard for affordable single shot hunting rifles. Every stock is lightweight, 100% ambidextrous, and features CVA s CrushZone Recoil pad a real plus for heavier calibers like the .35 Whelen. For 2020, the new SCOUT Blued/Black models are our most basic break-action centerfire rifles, but are plenty of gun to get the job done for the budget-minded hunter. Whether you’re looking for a youth’s first hunting rifle or a compact truck, camp or brush gun, the SCOUT is a great choice. Note: Extracts loads, does not eject.

1 year agoCant aay enough about the concept and accuracy of this rifle. Axxuracy is sub MOA in my testing to 300 yds with Hornady Black 110 gn Vmax. Shooting supressed with a 3-9 scope. The gun deserves higher magnification and i will be shooting out as far as it will take me

1 year agoI own this in bushmaster. Quality, fit and finishing is great. These guns are on the heavy side but worth the coin. Now I need a 300 blackout!

1 year agoOK, without having shot it yet everything about it seems very nice including the trigger. It is light and handy. I thought the barrel was a little thicker and heavier but it's still better than most It reminds me of my old NEF single shots chats. I love those of those.

1 year ago-Ran great - super quiet with subsonic and subsonic ammo - smaller than expected - fit well in my arms and had a nice feel

1 year agoI'm very pleased. Fit and finish is excellent, good trigger, and even the plastic furniture feels fairly solid. The attached group photo was taken at 50 yards with AAC 220gr (was not subsonic in this rifle, avg 1123 fps, SD 21 ES 42), using a PA 1-6 ACSS. It'll do!
