For those who love a long sight radius, the Jaguar pairs our crisp iron sights with a 28.6 inches barrel. The rear tangent sight is easily adjusted for distances from 25 to 200 meters, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 for a suppressor. With a beechwood stock ideal for open sights, it has grip stippling that follows with the Jaguar motif. If we were to pick one thing that our previous rimfire platforms were lacking, it was an American-style push-to-fire safety – something Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches have begged us to incorporate for years. Though that was the most obvious change, we also took the opportunity to tweak a load of small things at the same time. In addition to the receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, we chopped almost an inch of length from the action and slab-sided it to reduce its footprint and weight. The stamped bottom metal of the 455 is gone, swapped for a classy 2-piece interlocking system. To make scope fitment easier, we ditched the 90 degree bolt rotation in favor of 60 degree, allowing for larger ocular bell diameters with lower ring heights. To top it all off, the 457 now features a trigger adjustable for weight, creep and over-travel. With the exact same swappable barrel system as the 455 and the same reliable polymer magazine system, the 457 is without a doubt the best rimfire platform we’ve ever fielded.

2 years agoBought mine about 8-10 years ago when the Jaguar was then called the 452 Ultra-Lux. It has the same weight and features and the 28.5" barrel. Never had a better rifle. Mounted a Leupold 3-9 scope and the rounds end up in the bulls eye at 25 yards.

2 years agoto say i am happy is an understatement. i cannot find a flaw in its appearance. I have only fired offhand but it seems to be very accurate and it "hangs" really well. The trigger, as set from the factory, is pretty light with little creep and over-travel. i have not had any failures of any kind with any kind of ammo. the long barrel really quiets the report.

2 years agoThis is my 3rd CZ rifle from GaG and for good reason. I installed a Boyd's laminated Thumbhole stock and a Bushnell scope and right out of the box after 37 rounds printed 1 hole sub .400" 4-7 shot groups at 100 yards, similar to my other two CZ rifles. Appearance is just beyond beautiful and accuracy even better. CZ knows what we now know..... Thanks to GaG as well..!!

2 years agoBeautiful rifle, feels very good quality, very smooth and secure action, the iron sights came in dead accurate right out of the box, it feeds and ejects flawlessly even with bulk ammo. It came with the 10 rnd mag, and not the 5 rnd like the description says, so im Very pleased Overall. Also if your looking for a scope set up to use with your iron sights, the monstrum high rise mounts work perfectly with a 40mm scope.

2 years agoA very accurate rifle,sights are perfectly regulated out 200 yards. Smooth action and balances well and so quiet to SHOOT.this is my 3rd cz457 and 6th cz rifle,you cannot get a better rimfire rifle for the money

2 years agoBeyond happy with the purchase of this PARTICULAR rifle and where i bought it (grabagun). This isn’t my first Cz rimfire rifle or last hopefully. Lol I have become somewhat of a rimfire guru as of lately. I did my research on what cz 457 i wanted and the jaguar fit the bill. I love the long barrel,slim grip on the beechwood stock. trigger was perfect in my opinion out the box. Action is smooth and updated safety is a nice upgrade from previous models.
