1 year agoUnboxed at Sportsman"s Warehouse it was witnessed by three store workers and about four onlookers. There was a couple of WOW's. The bluing is very nice and the Walnut stock I rated AAA. I didn't expect it to look as good as the promo pics but it did. Now why the three stars. I cleaned and lubed it and headed to the ranged. It jammed the first five slugs then started to function better. Took it home and cleaned then cycled snap caps many times. Next range session was much better. So this is not

1 year agoBought the (620) 20 gauge and liked it immensely, so bought the 12 gauge too (612) and can't get the barrel back on from when they took it apart to box it up at the store. Needs some filing somewhere. Also the stock is loose, needs the pad took off to get at the stock bolt to tighten it but first have to get the barrel on. Several hours of trying didn't work. Might do fine once these malfunctions are addressed.

1 year agoBeautiful, functional shotgun with one exception. Obvious overrun of glue where rib meets barrel (see photo). Easily removed with a credit card, in the store. This gun was marked down so much that I took it anyway. I got one hell of a deal. If I hadn't gotten such a great price, I would have probably not taken the gun as it will require buffing to make it perfect (slight glue stain).

1 year agoPicked this up to use as a light field gun. Great quality for the price. Ran 100 rounds through it and had zero problems. The furniture on this gun looks better then it should for the price. Has a ported barrel, not sure how much of a difference that makes with a 20GA, but it looks good. The gun breaks down very easy, almost identical to my REM 870.

1 year agoIf you are looking for a very light weight field gun for pheasant or grouse you should give this one a try. It's fit and finish is quite high compared to domestic competitors. The wood grain varies quite a bit but is high quality in general. The one I got has an amazing swirl pattern but some others I have seen are more plain. Still a sharp looking shotgun though. I love being able to carry a such a light gun for solo hunting. I don't get as many opportunities to shoot so the fact that

1 year agoTypical CZ value - lots of features at a great price. Fit and finish are great. The action is smooth and easy to cycle. As with the CZ 628 I also ordered, it came with some ‘crud’ around the rib welds. That took some effort to clean up. If you want to use 3rd party chokes, this uses the Beretta Benelli Mobil chokes. The CZ 628 also uses the same choke types. A few more things: arrived in a black cardboard box, appears to have come from somewhere other than PSA as the shipment originated in Shreveport, LA.
