CZ 712 UTILITY G2

CZ has a great reputation for quality and performance. I actually own three CZ’s. Two CZ 75’s and one 22 bolt. When I went in to pick up the shotgun I was surprised at the difficulty in assembling and disassembling the shotgun. Plus it didn’t have the same sense of quality. Consequently I didn’t purchase.

Super smooth action and I love the texture on the stock and forward grip. The recoil pad is nice and soft but does not have the white stripe shown in photos. Comes with 5 chokes a nice case that fits the shotgun when disassembled and 2 weapon socks for storage yet only one fits the shotgun when fully assembled. I have had a 712 g2 green field for a few year and have shot thousands of rounds and this utility seems like it is equal quality and should last a lifetime Great 3 gun or tactical shotgun, home defense or just fun to shoot Made by huglu in turkey

I have the 720ALS model. It is a VERY solid gun and easy to service. The "shoot the heavier loads for break- in" did not work for me. A gunsmith enlarged the barrel gas ports; now it shoots any light load you feed it.

Great shotgun and it works quite well as a semi-automatic. Very well made, easy to disassemble clean and reassemble. Nice trigger action(smooth)!

Sportsman is the best!! I buy all my guns and rifles through Sportsman. Staff is always helpful and understanding of my needs.

I’m very pleased with my CZ 712 UTILITY G2. The quality exceeds my expectations. It will replace my pump shotgun for coyote hunting. It’s lighter and shoots faster. Patterns well with factory chokes and my favorite ammo. Easy to disassemble and clean. Highly recommended.

easy to put together and like that the stock can be adjusted with shims. gun looks great and family and friends really liked it.

This is a great shotgun and outstanding value Doesn't hurt that I can use my Benelli choke tubes. Be sure to follow break in instructions. Use 3" mags first if you have em.

Out of the box it wouldn't shoot skeet loads, thought it needed break in. Flawless with game loads. In the process i messed it up a couple times trying to modify it, CZ sent me multiple parts free of charge, when i messed it up even further i sent it to CZ, they sent a prepaid two day shipping label, within nine days they stated that though they fixed it even after a couple mods they couldn't get it to fire lower power loads either, sent me a new gun. this is all within 9 days. Looks good and feels great! Shorter barrel makes it lightweight and easy to maneuver. Not the greatest for clays but short range small game its perfect.

It is a great gun! It cycles even standard birdshot after about a 50 round break in period and a good cleaning. There are some things to know about it though. It does not come with sling studs and I was not able to find an adapter for a tube sling attachment. It also has a hard recoil pad and difficult to find aftermarket option for it. If you don't mind a slip on recoil pad or a sling that doesn't need attachments, and want a reasonably priced function semi auto shotgun this is the shotgun for you.
