I changed the guide rod to steel, the grips to brown polymer and the hammer spring to 14 lbs because hand cocking it was too hard. (This was difficult because of pushing the spring in farther than normal at base to reinstall the magazine leaf spring over it).

I changed the sights to truglo tfx and took it to the range. Shot at 15 ft to ck the sights and after 200 rounds only 3 were out of the 6 inch bullseye and not by much. surprise myself. i just started shooting oct 2016,prior to this i had not gone to the range in about a year, usually shot low and to the right with a glock 17 gen 4. been seeing youtube videos on how to grip a gun and i guess it worked. The decocker on the pcr was hard not smooth but i never use the decocker. It works but its hard. I have to be dead to take this gun away from me.

Great gun, feels really nice in my hand. Very accurate too. slide inside frame rails allows low bore axis which is nice, except it means the cocking serrations are very short and not too easy to grip. Also, the takedown method is kind of a hassle, since you need to line up the hash marks on the frame and slide (but cocking hammer makes it a bit easier). And the DA/SA with decocker is the best operating system for a defense gun by far!

The cz 75 d pcr compact is, like the cz 75 b, a top-of-the-line pistol. The PCR is very accurate and easy to shoot. The balance in the hand is excellent as is the access to the controls. I do wish the disassembly was easier. Removing the slide stop involves tapping with the magazine and using the magazine to pry the slide stop free from the firearm. But I can live with that because it is, afterall, one of the best pistols made. The service provided by grabagun during purchasing matched the quality of the pistol.

Pistol looks great. Good size. Be warned: I accidentally dropped the pistol from waist height to a wood floor. This caused the trigger to get stuck. I was unable to rack the slide back past the half cock position. Hammer was not responding. I took it to a gun smith, he said the hammer pin got loose and was preventing the trigger from functioning properly. He had to remove the trigger mechanism from the pistol and tighten it up. Cost me $45. So don’t drop it.

very accurate, ergonomics are really good, the supplied grips ar e a little wide and stick to your hands (soft rubber) but not "sticky" per se, a little hard to rack since slide rides inside frame and very low bore axis but you get used to it, very nice finish is just as pictured, fit is very good, recoil is very well attenuated, a pleasure to look at, own, and shoot. the only bad part is the trigger-very long and stiff double action (as meant to be) feels about 10 lbs or more without a … Read More

What a great looking handgun! Not only looks great but shoots even better! I miss the flush fit magazine with the metal bottom though.

It's my favorite "wonder 9" in my collection. The size and weight are perfect and the 15 rd capacity is a bonus.

Excellent, love it! Only downside is long pistol grip reduces conceal ability and does not have any night sights.

Fantastic firearm! Cz is sadly underappreciated in the us. Extremely accurate, soft shooting, ergonomic design. added a few mods from cz custom & cajun gunworks...not essential but nice ADDITIONS. Enjoyed the pcr and Later purchased a sp-01. Cz makes quality firearms. highly recommend.

The gun is an excellent choice in quality, reputation, carry and in home defense. Take down is easy once you get used to it. Recoil management I found is excellent. I thought since the gun is an older design that more modern ammunition might be an issue with recoil. Not so at least to me. I would definitely recommend CZ and this model to at least try it. I know if no one who is disappointed. GaG of course gets an A plus for service and pricing.

This is my new favorite pistol - feels great in the hand, love the rubber grips, shoots great, recoil is nice, and the trigger is smooth. The sights were a little hard to see with my old eyes so I replaced them with fiber optic ones. I am looking for a good holster because this may be my new carry pistol.

I wanted a hammer fired metal frame pistol. The cz brand has a phenomenal reputation and the folks at grab a gun had the cz 75 D pcr att the absolute lowest price. The gun i received was pristine and stamped 23 so i was assured it was current production not new old stock. Gun shoOts well out of the box. Excellent trigger in both da and sa mode. Size is right - Not bulky and the weight does not impair all day carry
