I bought this a week ago, took it home lubed it and took it to the range the following weekend. After cleaning I noticed several large spots where the finish in the barrel has been rubbed off with simple wipe down see photo of what comes off. Now let’s see what warranty does

I own several O/U shotguns 2 Franchi,1 Valmet, 1 Setter, and this Teal is smooth and well balanced I use it as a Skeet gun primarily. I am very happy with it and it is very solid shotgun. Particularly like the no automatic safety feature, the ejectors are very positive, and the white bead is not distracting but visible, decent wood, nice finish. Just a note to let you know the chokes are Huglu design choke threads not Beretta/Mobil chokes which many Turkish made shotguns use. I do not find any downside to these shotguns great guns buy one and you'll like it.

The packaging (gun case) is first class. Impressed that all the needed chokes (5) were enclosed in the gun case. It handled nicely on the target range. Easy to clean and excellent value at price point.

i picked this up in 12ga about three years ago when Cabelas had a great deal on it. I've shot several full rounds of sporting clays, as well as just shooting clays around here and there. Never had an issue with it, as most over unders are, you pull the trigger, it goes bang. The wood is beautiful, finished in a soft satin, the bluing is decent, not the best not the worst. Its worth every bit of the asking price. The not so good: it took about 300 rounds for it to loosen up and not have to force the barrels open after a shot, which isnt so bad.The recoil isnt bad but after 70 rounds it starts to take a pounding on the shoulder, especially when i only really get the opportunity to shoot once or twice a year. I added a limbsaver butt pad and you cant even feel the recoil. the wood to metal fit isnt the best, but in line with other guns at this price point. Im still very happy with this purchase.

I purchased the gun a month or so, I really like the looks of it and the feel. I shot it within two days of the purchase and when the bottom barrel selector is selected the top barrel will not fire. When the selector is on the top barrel the gun shoots really nice.
Took the gun back the following day to Cabela's and the guy at the desk fired the gun and it done the same thing as it did on me. He supposedly didn't have a manager in the store and couldn't do anything and ask me to come back the following day.
I went back the following day and a different guy came and checked the gun out and we went to the back where the guns are and he said we would it purchased back and took the gun to the back. He came back with another guy and they had put the dry shells in the gun and it shows it is firing ok. I agreed to try the gun again, took the gun home and shot it in the next few days. With the selector in the bottom barrel position the gun was firing both barrels. It took me a few rounds to figure out that when the bottom barrel was selected the top barrel was the one firing first. I took the gun back to Cabela's and the 2nd guy was there, he again said we will get it changed out, we again went to the gun shop and the same guy came out with the gun and said there was nothing wrong with it, after a little heated exchange he went to the back to the back.
They then sent a young girl out and she said she was only the messenger, but they wouldn't take the gun back and said they would buy it for around 70% of what I paid for it, I asked to speak to a manager and she finally came and said there appears to be nothing wrong with the gun and after another exchange I told them I would take care of it myself with CZ. I have not spoken with CZ yet but really disappointed in Cabel's,
I spend thousands of $$ there each year, but not any more. Will take my business elsewhere.

Save your money. I own five over/unders, one is a CZ swamp magnum which I love. I have put 250 rounds through the teal at farrow pigeons. The 20 guage Teal does not come close to any of the other four. I e-mailed CZ about a couple of the things that concerned me and was told thats hoe the teal was made.

Picked up this gun a couple weeks ago. Look is utilitarian; fine with me as this is strictly a field gun. Everything works as expected. The break action was stiff when I got it home. After cleaning and oiling the gun, the break action is now like butter. I have had it out in the field twice for Dove. Great swing. I find it fits my hands very well.

Out of the box the gun wouldn't shoot at all. I took it back to Cabelas. They couldn't believe it. They tested it multiple times and the trigger wouldn't work either. I must say the folks at Cabelas were great however the return/refund process was very long. Amazing this gun passed CZ-USA quality control and was shipped to be sold at a major retailer.

But the price does not prevent issues.
The action is really stiff even after 500 rounds. I can only hope that changes as I put more rounds thru it.
This gun mounts consistently and required no fitting.
For the price, it really can't be beat.

Was hesitant at first about purchasing this gun after seeing how much it was marked down and thought what the heck is wrong with it. Absolutely nothing this gun shoulders great swings nice and is a dream to shoot. Took it out yesterday pheasant hunting and it preformed flawlessly. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Fit and finish is very good and nice looking wood. If your on the fence like I was get this while they are still on sale you won't be disappointed.

Ok I’ve had the CZ Teal for over a year now and have shot over 1,200 farrow pigeons at the local dairy farms. Two things that I was unhappy with that I didn’t explain well were the barrels which are streched at the end to fit the choke tubes and it didn’t come with automatic safety. I have gotten use to the safey and don’t even notice the slight difference at the end of the barrels. I did have to send it to CZ because 90% of the time it wouldn’t switch over to the second barrel after fireing the first. Didn’t matter if it was top or bottom barrel fired first. CZ was very fast with turnaround time and it has fired flawlessly eversince. Also the fit and finish of both wood and steel is very pleasing to look at. So more than 2,500 rounds and over a year later I have definitely changed my oppinion of CZ and the Teal. Thank you CZ and keep up the good work.

My 12 ga CZ Woodcock has been great for hunting, although a bit heavy. I ordered a Teal (on sale) in 20 ga to back it up. The snobs can sniff at a Turkish gun all they want. My dog doesn't care, as long as it brings down the bird. And I value his opinion.
Plain Jane. No scroll work, no gold inlaid hunting scene. But a nice wood to metal fit, whippy to the shoulder (7 lbs). Decent wood. Five flush chokes. Nice tight action out of the box. Fully functional and works as advertised with 100 shells through it on clays. My only quibble is that I would have preferred a 26" barrel. But I'm happy with it and would recommend.
It's a gun you don't mind dinging up when the pheasant is more important than how it looks in a gun rack.

I bought my CZ Teal 16 gauge 5 months ago and it has been a solid performing bird gun. The wood on my gun is exceptional and the black metal finish is great for tough upland hunting conditions.

At first, I wasnt sure if I would like it all that much compared to my Browning Citori. However, I have come to really enjoy shooting this along with my friends and family. It gets the job done, and does it well.

Action was a bit tight when new, but put about 120 rounds through it it and is much easier to open/close now. Shoots well and handles well. Easy trigger reset for the second shot. Great shotgun for the price.

I bought this gun for my sons first season of competition to see if he like shooting. He’s shot well over 5000 rounds through it. He did Trap,Skeet & Sporting clays. It was a perfect beginning Gun especially at the price point. It swings great and the balance is great. It patterned ok but I switched to Carlson chokes and it shoots lights out now. I let his friends use it to see if they like shooting and it’s also his preferred gun to hunt with as it’s light.
