1 year agoI had one with scope and all mounted and bore sighted only to find out they are recalled on August 22nd. Safety recall. I really liked the rifle but it was taken back at the store and others pulled from the shelf.

1 year agoMy Nosler Liberty rifle is a better rifle BUT it cost more than 2X the price of the CZ Alpha. The CZ 600 (in 308) delivers on the sub MOA promise. The trigger adjusts down to a little over one pound up to three pounds using the supplied allen wrench. Off the bench go low and hunting i'm setting the trigger up a click higher. The fore end of the stock can flex into the barrel if you hold the barrel and push the stock into it -- doesn't happen sitting on a bag - so not really a concern. I plan to put a smaller scope on it down the road as the one scope i had free is to large for the rifle. I believe the recall was to locktite the barrel screws in place (originally designed to be removeable in order for the owner to change their own barrels) because the potential was there for someone to replace the barrel incorrectly. If i can find an CZ 500 in 7.62 x 39 -- i will own one of those also.
