Using the popular Boyd’s AT-ONE stock as its basis, this 457 Varmint variant makes an ideal trainer for the whole family. With the push of a button, length of pull can be adjusted from 12.5 to 14.25 inches. Comb height is similarly adjustable, with 5/8 inches of rise available. The stiff laminate stock provides a nice, rigid platform from which to work and the 16.5 inches threaded heavy barrel makes fitting a suppressor easy. If we were to pick one thing that our previous rimfire platforms were lacking, it was an American-style push-to-fire safety – something Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches have begged us to incorporate for years. Though that was the most obvious change, we also took the opportunity to tweak a load of small things at the same time. In addition to the receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, we chopped almost an inch of length from the action and slab-sided it to reduce its footprint and weight. The stamped bottom metal of the 455 is gone, swapped for a classy 2-piece interlocking system. To make scope fitment easier, we ditched the 90 deg bolt rotation in favor of 60 deg, allowing for larger ocular bell diameters with lower ring heights. To top it all off, the 457 now features a trigger adjustable for weight, creep and over-travel. With the exact same swappable barrel system as the 455 and the same reliable polymer magazine system, the 457 is without a doubt the best rimfire platform we’ve ever fielded.

1 year agoIt took me forever to figure out what 22 bolt I wanted. So happy with this one, having adjustable cheek & pull is great looks & feels solid. Put a nice scope on & suppressor.

1 year agoRifle arrived on time and in perfect shape, absolutely a great rifle super accurate with different types of ammo , sk long range match consistently shoots one hole groups at 50yds . Love this rifle fit and finish is outstanding, action is slick and feels great, trigger pull a bit heavy when it got here but only a couple minutes of adjusting and it’s awesome, love it !!!!

1 year agoThe CZ-457 action and barrel, be it 16 ((which I chose) and or 24 inch are well suited for AT-One stock. Know that the action is not drilled and taped so you must use a 11mm slide on rail Care on ring choice if you use a 0.5 in high rail, like area 14's, as scope could mount higher than cheek rest will rise.

1 year agoEasily the best feeling .22lr I’ve ever felt. I have JM Marlin model 39s that shoot and feel good but nothing like this! The only bolt action .22lr bar none.

1 year agoI've bought four of them in five months. Two Scouts, one LUX and now a Synthetic. All in .22lr You won't find a better quality or more accurate rifle for the money.

1 year agothe trigger does not adjust well to the take up screw adjustment for trvel before the wall and the after break screw nor does feel to take up much if any over traval the pull weight screw does not give a good feel for LB difference

1 year agoI have 5 CZ 457s. For the money, they are the most accurate and reliable firearms . They are built like the Rock of Gibraltar and can be handed down from generation to generation; they are that good

1 year agoI’ve only used the website once, but the gun was promptly delivered. I’ve also only shot the gun at one tournament so far. It took just the first target to get in line and then it was off to the races! I hope I’m not getting ahead of myself, but really looking forward to shooting in the tournament tomorrow.

1 year agoBeautiful looking rifle. Nice fit and finish. Have not shot it yet so can’t comment on that. Bolt is a little stiff so hopefully it’ll move more smoothly after some use.
