Using the popular Boyd’s AT-ONE stock as its basis, this 457 Varmint variant makes an ideal trainer for the whole family. With the push of a button, length of pull can be adjusted from 12.5 to 14.25 inches. Comb height is similarly adjustable, with 5/8 inches of rise available. The stiff laminate stock provides a nice, rigid platform from which to work and the 16.5 inches threaded heavy barrel makes fitting a suppressor easy. If we were to pick one thing that our previous rimfire platforms were lacking, it was an American-style push-to-fire safety – something Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches have begged us to incorporate for years. Though that was the most obvious change, we also took the opportunity to tweak a load of small things at the same time. In addition to the receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, we chopped almost an inch of length from the action and slab-sided it to reduce its footprint and weight. The stamped bottom metal of the 455 is gone, swapped for a classy 2-piece interlocking system. To make scope fitment easier, we ditched the 90 deg bolt rotation in favor of 60 deg, allowing for larger ocular bell diameters with lower ring heights. To top it all off, the 457 now features a trigger adjustable for weight, creep and over-travel. With the exact same swappable barrel system as the 455 and the same reliable polymer magazine system, the 457 is without a doubt the best rimfire platform we’ve ever fielded.

2 years agoCan't say anything more than "FANTASTIC". I put a inexpensive scope on it and just using cheap Blazer and Aguila to sight it in. Within half hour of shooting and adjusting I was placing 5 shots in the X of a official 50 yard target. What more could I ask for?

1 year agoStock and bbl not properly fitted out of the box. Easy enough fix. Shoots better than I ever will with Vortex glass on top. Love this rifle and cz-USA stuff in general. Worth every penny.

1 year agoI love the gun. At this point in time, this gun shoots better then me. I have not shot in a long time and learning how to shoot all over again to use this gun makes it so much easier. I like the adjustable stock and cheek rest. From the first time I saw it, I knew I wanted it and it took a long time to find one and I am very happy I waited to get it. I have not found anything I dislike about this rifle

1 year agoI'm really happy with my new cz 457 at one. It's a tack driver. I'm not saying I shoot this good all the time but I shot a 5 shot group at 100 yards that I cold cover with a dime. I was shooting wolf match target.

1 year agoFit and finish is excellent bolt is smooth and easy to manipulate. Accuracy is wonderful. Stock is adjustable for comfort, though the buttons can be sticky. I Highly suggest sk rifle match Ammo or equivalent. The 5rd mags sit flush, you may prefer the 10rd mags, they are pricy. Went with an area 419 30moa rail and an athlon btr. about 250rds through it. Love it rings 300yds easy.

1 year ago.5 moa groups at 50 yards right out of the box. This us definitely a tack driver though a bit finicky about ammo. Seems to love RWS 50 and Wolf. Aquila and CCI not so much. Sorta likes Eley Target.

1 year agoEasily the best feeling .22lr I’ve ever felt. I have JM Marlin model 39s that shoot and feel good but nothing like this! The only bolt action .22lr bar none.

1 year agoI've bought four of them in five months. Two Scouts, one LUX and now a Synthetic. All in .22lr You won't find a better quality or more accurate rifle for the money.

1 year agothe trigger does not adjust well to the take up screw adjustment for trvel before the wall and the after break screw nor does feel to take up much if any over traval the pull weight screw does not give a good feel for LB difference

1 year agoI have 5 CZ 457s. For the money, they are the most accurate and reliable firearms . They are built like the Rock of Gibraltar and can be handed down from generation to generation; they are that good

1 year agoBeautiful looking rifle. Nice fit and finish. Have not shot it yet so can’t comment on that. Bolt is a little stiff so hopefully it’ll move more smoothly after some use.
