Everybody loves a bull barrel! Bringing the heavy, match-grade barrel from our Officer-size ECO to a bit bigger platform, the Enhanced Commander Pistol is a 4 inches gun that conceals well but is a tack-driver at the range. With a compact, stainless steel slide and a forged aluminum frame, weight is kept to a svelte 29 oz. Our new tapered G10 grips and a bobbed mainspring housing enhance its ergonomics, affording shooters with smaller hands an easier reach to the trigger. A tri-topped slide wears aggressive side serrations and a top rib to knock down glare, while our new U-notch rear sight is matched to our brass-beaded front sight. The bull barrel itself is flush-cut to make for easier disassembly and has a 30 degree crown. With a similar recoil system to the ECO, it has a flat wire recoil spring that is rated for 15000 rounds – three times the round count of a typical 1911 dual recoil spring setup. With a compact size that melts away when concealed and a beefy bull barrel, the ECP is an ideal 1911 for everyday carry.

2 years agoThis is my first Dan Wesson. I am very impressed. I own other 1911's, Kimbers, Springfield and RIA. The Dan Wesson is incredibly precise in fit ad finish, more so than the others. I had issues on the first magazine, so I racked it fifty or so times to work it in, The gun has ran flawless since. The sights are spot on, the trigger very crisp. The ECP is worth every penny of it's price. I see more Dan Wesson products in my future..

2 years agoThis is the nicest, crispest, 9mm 1911 Ive have ever fired or owned. The trigger is Awesome. A bit EXPENSIVE, but worth every penny. Dan Wesson knows how to build a 1911 the right way.

1 year agoI received my ECP a few days ago. I’m still in the break in period, but have run over 100 rounds through it. It’s lighter then expected, easily concealed and is as accurate as a laser. Guns.com was extremely easy to deal with and the weapon arrived at my FFL in just a few days. Will definitely use guns.com in the future.
