The DD5 V4, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, provides users of the Daniel Defense semi-automatic platform even greater long-range precision shooting capability. These gains in ballistic efficiency help the modern shooter stretch the effective range out to 1000 m or more. This highly accurate and durable rifle includes an adjustable gas block that allows for a consistent feel whether shooting suppressed or unsuppressed. The perfected bolt carrier group reduces overall recoil impulse and is easy to maintain and operate in all conditions.

1 year agoIt's a good shooter but not MOA like DD guarantees. I even use Federal Prem 168gr and I average 2 MOA. I'm sure there are many variables you need to adhere to in order to achieve consistent MOA groupings. I would recommend it but just know that's not a consistent MOA shooter.

1 year agoDaniel deFENSE TRULY MAKES INCREDIBLE WEAPONS FOR THE PRICE. i'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A 7.62 NATO RIFLE FOR SOME TIME AND DETERMINED THIS WAS THE BEST VALUE AS A PLATFORM FOR MY BUILD. QUALITY OF THE COMPONENTS IS EXCEPTIONAL. I'M A HUGE FAN.

1 year agoWanted to get into long (really long) distance shooting so picked this bad boy up. it is very heavy so I would probably not use it for hunting unless you have a stationary blind or something. buying from grabagun was easy painless exp and will buy from them again.

1 year agoAbsolute dream of a rifle. Bought on suggestion of my son who was SOCM and knew a bunch of guys from the teams. He told me Davis Defense was a solid front runner of choice among them. If it's good enough to defend the USA, It's good enough for me to defend myself and family. Plan to do a little preadator control with it too! Couldn't be happier.

1 year agoGreat gun. This is my 2nd DD5V4 in .308. I didn't get the Mil-Spec+ on my first one which I plan to give to a friend. Both will be used solely for hunting deer & boar. This is my 4th Daniel Defense rifle.

1 year agoThe purchase of my DD5 V4 with Guns.com was a surprisingly great experience. Guns gave me updates via email at every new stage of the process. That put me at my FFL transfer location prepared and ahead of a holiday rush. Very happy with DD products. Will update once we go to range.
