The Daniel Defense M4A1 features the M4A1 RIS II, which has been in use by US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD II Weapons System since 2005. The M4A1 features a 14.5” Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel with a permanently attached Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor. This rifle also comes with the rugged and comfortable Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip.

1 year agoThis is my first AR-15 I have bought, so I can only compare this to other peoples ARs that I have shot. Take this review with a grain of salt. The rifle came with 2 butt stock pads that you could replace: one curved in and one that is curved out. It also comes in a cheaper looking case with a big Daniel Defense logo on it that is way to skinny to close with a flashlight on, so be aware that you will need a new case if you are looking to keep a flashlight on the rifle. 1 year agoThe charging handle kept sticking and the trigger was a gritty mess. Replace those and you’ve got a great gun. Dependable, light (especially for a quad rail), solidly built. Would I buy again? Yes.
