Competition-grade engineering raises the Daniel Defense V7® PRO Semi-Auto Rifle to a level of shooting performance all its own. Ideal for the most demanding of multi-gun matches, the V7 PRO model with 18" cold hammer-forged barrel dominates with speed and precision. Each comes standard with the MFR 15.0 M-LOK® rail, offering incredible weight savings combined with superior cooling, ergonomics, rugged durability, and modularity. An uninterrupted Picatinny rail on top and M-LOK attachment points accept optics and accessories, while maximizing sight radius for accurate shooting using rail-mounted iron sights (not included). Muzzle Climb Mitigator redirects propellant gasses through calibrated ports to reduce both recoil and muzzle climb. Geissele® Automatics Super Dynamic 3-Gun trigger features a light, short pull and quick reset to fire off rapid, on-target hits. The softened recoil impulse of a rifle-length gas system shortens split times, allowing precise follow-up shots with reduced fatigue. Lower receiver has enhanced flared magazine well and rear receiver QD swivel attachment point. Upper receiver features indexing marks and M4 feed ramps. Both the mil-spec upper and lower receivers are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with type-III hard-coat anodized finish. Chrome moly vanadium steel barrel features a 1:7 rate-of-twist rifling and mil-spec heavy-phosphate-coated finish. Other top-end engineering details include 4140 hardened-steel CNC-machined pinned low-profile gas block with mil-spec heavy-phosphate coating, M16-profile bolt carrier group, 6-position mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum receiver extension. The rail system's proprietary bolt attachment to the upper receiver free floats the barrel ensuring unaffected harmonics during operation. Widened and beveled magwell funnels magazines into place for super-fast, secure reloading. The ergonomic Daniel Defense pistol grip, made from glass-filled polymer with soft-touch overmolding, has an integral trigger guard and nonslip grip. Buttstock features a nonslip cheek weld, interchangeable butt pads, and integral QD point. GRIP-N-RIP charging handle and safety selector accommodates left- and right-handed shooters. Daniel Defense V7 PRO semi-auto rifle ships with 1 DD magazine.
