1 year agoThe wait time to fill out paperwork and the wait time to pick it up is my only complaint but once I was being helped it went pretty fast and so far have not shot the firearm yet but looks nice and seems to function well

1 year agoThis is my first and only AR-15 I have purchased. Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand the California compliant edition. If it came down to it, and I really needed it, I would grab my Mini 14 first

1 year agoNot a Gucci high-dollar AR-15...but feature for feature, and dollar for dollar, a top value. It was the only one available, by dumb luck--but I'm pleased with my purchase, and would buy a Diamondback again!

1 year agoGreat gun other then before even shooting 300 rounds the charging handle begins jamming. Just gave me more of a reason to get a different charging handle.

1 year agoAside from the factory trigger, this is a great gun. Changed the trigger to a drop in and it made all the difference. The pull on the factory trigger feels like 7 or 8 pounds, almost to the point you think the safety is on.

1 year agoThis might be the best overall value for an AR15. For example, compare it to the Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II. The S&W comes in at $100 more, yet has an inferior barrel, and it's not free floated. The DB's barrel is made of 4140 steel (with a 1:9 twist), while the DB is 4150 (with a 1:8 twist, which is more versatile). The BCG in the DB is shot peened and MPI tested, the S&W's is not. Both barrels are Melonite treated. And the hand guard is far superior on the DB as well. Sure, the DB doesn't

1 year agoI bought this rifle after much searching and research. When I saw it was available I jumped on it. I already had a red dot so as soon as got it and a few drops of oil I put about 100 rounds through it. It worked flawlessly. Unfortunately I did not do enough research on what it fully meant by "California complaint". Which, in my opinion, means absolutely stupidity. But in these times you have to take what you can, when you can. Honestly, it took me a while to figure out how to release the fixed

1 year agoFantastic value! Grab one if you are in the market. I’m amazed it’s only gone up 60 bucks since I bought mine. Only complaint is the lanyard takedown pin deal. I replaced it with a kingpin and maglock gen 4 and it’s amazing in comparison. Also grabbed a Cmmg “Bravo” .22 BCG so I can drop that in and shoot .22 all day! Love this thing.

1 year agoAs an entry level AR this one cannot be beat. Great reviews, very high quality product for the money. I added a few modifications, since I wanted some FDE flair to it - mostly Magpul furniture, 10/30 hex mags, and Vortex StrikeFire II RDO. Just need to add the AR Maglock Gen 4 and Kingpin, new buffer spring, new H2 buffer weight, and a strike industries king comp, and I’m set.

1 year agoI did a lot some impromptu research and looked at S&W ARs and a few others and I was not a fan of the fin on the pistol grip (Cali-Compliant, BOO!). I cam across the DiamindBack platform and saw that it was featureless, it seemed like a no brainer. It does have a Magpul magazine system (Cali-Compliant, BOO!), but all joking aside. I am 100% happy with my purchase. Since this was my first AR I put a vote crossfire red-dot scope on, I still need to run some ammo through for zero. This thing

1 year agoGreat rifle. Everything I was expecting and more. Good shipping time, and great service. I had no problems at all with any part of the purchase. I will buy another firearm from S.W. without question. The rifle was just as expected and great looking to boot. The price was also excellent. I would give it a 10. Thanks, S.F.

1 year agoI've been eying this rifle for weeks before finally pulling the trigger. Compared to other rifles around this price range, I found this to have what I was looking for out the box (mlok handguard and AR Maglock system) and looked more aesthetic. I ended up swapping out the original AR Maglock system with the AR Maglock Gen 4 + King Pin. If you see this available, jump on it asap.
