This lead free load is one of the most versatile ever manufactured in the 9mm. Featuring the solid copper Barnes TAC-XP bullet, you will see superior penetration and expansion with 100% weight retention. Testing has shown that this load will consistently penetrate 13.25 inches into ballistic gellatin with 0.69 inches of expansion. We have found that this bullet will also hit these same marks whether it is shot directly into ballistic gellatin or if it has been shot through common barriers first (Auto Glass, Sheet Metal, Drywall/ Studs, Heavy Clothing, Etc). The 9mm+P 115gr Barnes TAC-XP is truly the go to choice when your life is on the line.

1 year agoI like running these in the sUmmeR. Solid copper AFfords near 100% weight retention unlike older hot 115gr that would break aPart, reducing peNetration.

1 year agoWhat can I say , I am pleasantly surprised at the outstanding performance of these rounds, after testing for speed, penetration and expansion I can categorically tell you that they are without a doubt one of the best available in the market. Thank you

1 year agoReally sucks for me to say this, as Ive been buying DT ammo for years in 9 and 10mm, and loved it at the range. I tried carrying their 115gr Tac-XP 9x19mm load for EDC in my Glock 19 G5 as a lead free option. Three weeks into carrying it as a new construction pipefitter in warm weather with lots of sweat, I thought I should clean the pistol. When I dropped the mag, I noticed the top cartridge had a recessed projectile, I removed it and was able to pull the projectile by hand with little force.
