The Aptus evolved from the popular Paratus rifle and features the same patented internal recoil technology and quick take-down rifle technology. Chambered in .300 Blackout, the Aptus is Latin for “ready.” The patented internal recoil system eliminates the standard buffer tube/spring associated with most AR-style rifles, allowing it to be fired with the stock folded. The rifle can be assembled in less than 60 seconds without the use of any tools. Constructed with U.S. billet aluminum and finished in a black hard coat anodized, this tactical rifle comes with extraordinary custom detail and outstanding quality. It has an ambidextrous safety bolt catch and a left-side nonreciprocating charging handle. This patented quick take-down rifle is designed for compact portability and discreet carry.

1 year agoHave one with both caliber barrels. BOTH of them have failure to feed, stovepipe, and lite primer strike issues, no matter how I have the gas block adjusted. Looks like I’ll be sending this POS to DED for warranty.

1 year agoGot this in 300 blackout. Won’t shoot sub, OR supersonic ammo without having feed issues. Empty cases get stuck and don’t eject. Took advice from tech support on gas block adjustments and nothing helped. It simply is not reliable. It is accurate though. Too bad. Warranty time I guess.
