Eley Ammo Standard .22lr 40gr. – Round Nose 500-pack

I've been using the Eley Standard Ammo in my Ruger Mark IV for Steel Challenge Matches the past few months. It is very reliable. Since switching to Eley I have had no malfunctions with the gun. Another benefit is that this Ammo is very clean. My internals don't need to be washed out with cleaner. It also has less recoil that other Ammo I've tried for matches like CCI Mini Mags and Standard Velocity.

Eley Standard is a great way to get started using their ammo. It's clean burning and very accurate at a very reasonable price. I now use this as my match ammo for Steel Challenge shooting. It's not as tight as 10 X or Eley Match but it is better than most other bulk ammos on the market.

This Bulk pack 22 ammo was almost sent back. The brass was tarnished very bad and I thought it was going to be junk ammo. However, I found it to be quite accurate out of my target pistol. I will say I did have 3 fail to fire rounds out of the approximately 200 shot. I have 2-300 rounds of non bulk hard box Eley Standard that shoots great without the tarnished brass. Good enough accuracy from the bulk Pack but would not purchase in this type of packaging again.

The price was right so I thought I'd give it a chance. Boy was I right. Very accurate in my Ruger 10/22. Ragged 1 hole shots at 50 yds. Will definitely buy more. Thanks

Great consistency and no functionality issues. I use Eley a lot, Contact is a favorite but this stuff is as good for the price of CCI SV (which doesn’t compare). It isn’t Tennex, but it sure is affordable and accurate. Good stuff!

Great price for training and practice. Nothing much to say other than this shoots better than I do. With these if I miss, it's truly all on me. It's nice to know any fliers can't be blamed on the round, and no failures to fire or any other type of failure in a little over 500 rounds now. At 50 yards it holds to my zero each and every round. A very good choice in world of .22 choices. Will order more.

I received three boxes of the standard bulk packs..along its journey in shipping to MT. one of the plastic bags had ruptured and rounds layed some inside the secondary cardboard box ..some fell out along the way, shipment w/ UPS. I weighed the boxes to verify this. Haven't shot it thru everything yet but the 10/22 and Marlin 780 didn't like it very well.

One of the best ive ever shot. 500 shots no jams or misfire nothing went wrong with these bullets. 100% functionality.
