This Federal load, number sixes, Is the best I have ever shot for Chukar. Some people think it is too light. It is not. It is lethal out to 40 yards. Unlike other manufacturers it does not jam in my Benelli. The number 7 1/2 are deadly on Valley Quail.

I like Bass Pro shops their on line experience is very well done. This was the best deal I was able to find on ammo for a recent squirrel hunt in very tall trees. I have always had good success with Federal Ammo.

As usual, federal has produced another top quality product. This ammo is especially nice if you have a finicky 12ga 3 1/2in that doesn't like to cycle light target loads. Highly recommended.

I'm on my second box and so far, no problems. I only expect two things, the ammo works and the animal I'm hunting becomes dinner. It has achieved both of my criteria so far.

Federal-Game-Shok-Upland-Game-Heavy-Field-Load-Shotshells is dependable and powerful. It shoots a very nice group, cycles through both of my auto-loaders and it the best ammo at this price point or above, It shoots clean and it hits very hard. And with Cabela's you still get fast shipping and fair prices, even when the "Panic Pandemic Prices" are prevalent. I purchased this in 12 and 20 gauge and it arrived a few days later and Cabela's shipping prices is very low. This chrono'd at 1200 fps (feet per second) + - 15 fps from a Belgian Browning FN Auto-5 Light Twelve with an 18.5 inch barrel and at 1240 fps with the 28-inch barrel. Federal Game Shok Upland Game Heavy Field Load Shotshells & Cabela's are an unbeatable combination.

Love the power and reliability. Federals are a great shell.Have tried estates and others but the load is the best. Hunt 65+ days a year.

Not high brass not worth the trouble or time to return them guess I'll use for target shooting later

Bought 2 boxes yesterday... came home to put them in my metal box and they were all rusty, primers rusted, shells coated in rusty dust...

No need to pay extra for some claim of superior quality that really just means more cost. These work just fine for sport shooting and upland bird hunting. Never had a misfire over several years of use and thousands of rounds.

I have a finicky 1187 that only likes high brass. These always performed well. Lead shot is easier on chokes, and hits harder...

Pictures shows a high brass 12 gauge #6 shot. Purchased specifically for this as my auto loader is picky. Found out when they arrived that they are not high brass. Disappointed.

Pictures shows a high brass 12 gauge #6 shot. Purchased specifically for 1100 Remington because it will not eject low brass. Found out when they arrived that they are not high brass. Disappointed.

Not that I care because it makes no difference to me for my needs but the shells were low brass vs high as pictured. The loads/shot-shell were as expected otherwise. This order would have been 5 stars if not for the time it took to get the order (10 days) and that was a store pickup.

The picture got me like others. I should of read more carefully. Not high brass. Wouldn’t cancel the order. Even right after I placed it and before it shipped.

I just ordered 4 boxes of #6 Federal Game-Shock Upland Game Heavy Field Shotshells. The online picture of the product clearly shows high brass casings.what I received was a low brass product. This is not what I wanted, just good for target shooting in my opinion.

Image shows high brass shells. They are not. When you want high brass and expect this was disappointing.

Shells work well on ruffed grouse or preserve pheasants. I’ve found that they have a killing punch out to 30 yards.

these are low brass not high brass, misleading with an image of high brass shell. Should have paid attention to the dram count, my bad

Shame on me for not reading the reviews prior to my purchase. More importantly shame on Cabelas for not clarifying their marketing via pictures to better represent the product being sold. They have gone way down hill since being bought by Bass Pro and it’s sad to see. BE AWARE and read all the details of the product. Very unhappy.

Whether you need it for Home Defense or Hunting, these really pack the punch. From blowing an unauthorized home intruder back a few feet to dropping Grouse they work great (: ( or would )
