Took a whitetail spike with a perfect head shot this season with this cartridge! This cartridge is good for range practice and < 200 yards hunting. But when the cost for this cartridge is compared to the 120 grain Federal Fusion, the higher BC and bonded construction of the Fusion projectile wins out.

Took my first deer with this ammo this past season, a whitetail spike. It hit right on target, perfect head shot, maximum meat yield. This ammo worked perfectly for me while high BC ballistic silvertips were unpredictable in my Interarms Mark X .25-06 rifle. Icing on the cake is I bought this cheap during the Black Friday sale, then got a $5 / box rebate from Federal. This will be my first choice next deer season!

This is the ammo my Savage prefers over all others regardless of price. My Savage 110 shoots sub MOA with this load. It has a slower speed than others I’ve used which seems to make the difference. I haven’t used it enough for hunting to give a opinion as a hunting ammo. It’s always killed what I’ve shot though.
