2 years agoExcellent precision in my DPMS LR-308 and flawless feeding! Sub-MOA groups in 25 deg F as well as 75 deg F and very fast velocity! Definitely worth the money especially through Palmetto Armory.

2 years agoShot 2 groups of 5 and got 3/4 MOA. Will be my go to factory ammo but the only downside is palmetto raised their price from 16.99 to 21.99 so will not be buying here since others have it cheaper. If palmetto would go back to their original price I’d definitely buy more.

2 years agoVery good ammo was planning to buy lots more at the 16.99 price but looks like it’s now 21.99 and another place has it for 19.99.

2 years agoThis ammo produces 1/2" groups at 100yrds out of my savage 12. I will definitely buy more and would recommend it to anyone wanting to shoot long range. I have shot these out to 700 yrds and I'm pleased with what my results have been.

2 years agothis ammunition shoots fantastically in my m1a. When it goes on sale you can’t beat the price either. Thanks PSA!

2 years agoThis stuff seems to be losing its quality. I think federal has slacked. It use to hold some really nice groups. The standard deviation was 21 in my box. Hornady can produce some lots with single digit deviation. 4 stars because of sale price for what u get.

1 year agoNever had a misfire over several cases of this ammo. Great quality brass. Highly recommend this for any serious shooter

1 year agoI always shot 168 grain match in my 308s but since the military only uses 175 grains I thought I would switch over .... All I use now in my Ruger Precision... Great groups !

1 year agoShoots sub MOA out of my PSA Gen 3 pa-10. Unlike the 168 gr sierras this will maintain stability going transonic so you can shoot it as far as you can dial your scope.

1 year agoMy Savage Model 10 loves these rounds. Chronograph avg of 2,550 and consistent sub MOA at 100. I’ve taken several axis and hogs with this round and it’s devastating. My choice in ammo from now on.

1 year agoCompared to my hand loads on Lapua brass using the same SMK 175 projectile, Fec 210GM primer, and Varget these come very close to being as accurate. They can often be had for a great price as it costs almost 60 cents per round using these components to reload without brass. The brass will have loose primer pockets way before the lapua stuff but you're sometimes getting it for 20-30 cents per piece so it's 1/3 to 1/4 the price and the first round is already loaded for you.

1 year agoBought these to try in my Rem 700 20" PSS. First 2 shots were off a little from my point of aim. I had apparently turned the dials and readjusted scope and shot a 5 round group. All 5 in center of target at just less that 1". These rounds shoot at the same POI as the 168gr BTHP match ammo I had the rifle zeroed for. Very happy with these and will buy again.

1 year agoGreat ammo if you're trying to get the best group. Always feed you're precision rifle what it needs to perform its best.

1 year agoI find Federal 308 175gr Sierra BTHP Gold Medal Ammunition to be reliably accurate and reasonably priced - next best thing to handloaded ammunition.

1 year agoGreat stuff as usual! Very accurate and I can’t wait to go long range with it. Groups well in my Bergara HMR. Best factory ammo out there.
Troy M.
1 year agoGreat price with the current gouging going on with ammo!!! Palmetto State Armory's quick service and Federal's 175gr made my day!!! Always great service and a great bullet!!

1 year agoI got this ammo quite a while ago back before the craziness really good price really good ammo got it for way less than a dollar around

1 year agoWorking up my own reloads and couldn't get 175gr SMK under 1MOA. I bought these to compare. These shoot in my Aeroprecision 18 inch ar10 at 1moa and Chronos at 2470fps. I decided to try different powders. For factory ammo this is incredible

1 year agoI have been faithfully using Federal and Federal Premium ammunition for 40 years and have never had a single issue. No matter what I’m shooting, rifle, handgun or shotgun, Federal Premium is my ammo every time. Period!

1 year agoThe box of ammo I received had terrible accuracy and rounds were keyholing at 100yrds. Bad batch, nothing palmetto could do to remedy on their side.
