1 year agoI use a Sako L61R Finnbear in 7mm Rem Mag for deer hunting. I have put less than 200 rounds through it in 12 years, and didn't put a scope on it until 2 years ago. I found that different brands of ammo gave me vastly different results once I put a good scope on it. I had partial boxes (purchased from estate sales and auctions) of winchester supremes, remington core lokt, federal vital shock, cheap ppu, hornady white tail,and then this federal non typical. everything from 139 grain to

1 year agoThis shot similar to Winchester Power Points from my savage 116 stainless 7mm Rem Mag. Not bad but threw a round 2-3 inches low every so often. This is probably good in my gun up to about 100 yards but I don't think I would want to take it out much farther than that.
