I have been looking for this Ammo locally and no one carries it. The ones that do carry it in the Portland area want $60.00 a box. If you can find it on line, it goes for about $34.00 a box plus shipping. I am so glad I can finally buy this locally at a reasonable price. Thank You Sportsman Warehouse for coming to our area.

This is a great price at $1.80/rd but when you add up the 30% failure rate for bad assembly (primers set too deep) the value really goes down. Unfortunately I will be going with another brand for this caliber.

I don't know what federal was thinking when they packaged this ammo . It just arrived minutes ago. UPS bashed and battered the shipping box almost to total destruction. I opened it and found the order was complete but a bit bruised . Upon opening the 50 bmg box I was astounded by the condition of the ammo. Dirty Scratched cases look like they were battle field or range pickups. Rust stains on cases? Is this delinked from belts of old ammo? LC 13 is the head stamp. Federal will have to improve on this stuff. The sale price was too good to pass up but man. They have to clean up their act.

I ordered some of this 50BMG ammo sometime ago. The price seemed fair and it arrived promptly however upon inspection this stuff looked like range pickups. Corrosion on cases scuffed up as if ejected from a weapon and very dirty. I sent a review at the time but it was never posted on this site. In fact you can see it still says "be the first to review this product"

I ordered a few thousand rounds of this when it was on sale a while back. I have run it almost all in a Russian DShK rechambered in 50BMG and a few hundred in an M2 Browning. Every single round went off and no problems at all. Yeah it's not bright shiny new brass. But it was safe and worked great. I would buy it again in a heart beat.
