1 year agoI love the Valkyrie cartridge, and this is the perfect long range load. This bullet (with the right twist barrel) is what the Valkyrie was designed for. Long range matches, long range hunting on small critters including coyotes, or even medium (maybe to 400 yards) this load would work ideally on deer. For me this Fusion round has been exceptionally accurate. Consistent ballistic performance shoot after shoot. I just wish Federal made the bullets available for reloaders... For now I am just savin... Read more

1 year agocan hit a 8" steel plate at 400- yards and watch the hit marks almost touch eachother in 3-4 shot groups. Impressive in my PSA 20" barrel/BCG combo

1 year agoGot these with a PSA 224V 20 inch 1-7 upper. They shoot 2.5 inch groups at 100 yards in the PSA 1-7 upper.

1 year agoGlad you asked. I shot federal 90gr sp, 90gr smk. 60gr nosler ballistic tip varmint all with not so good results. Dont know if its PSA upper, ammo, bad day. But shot 3/4inch 1inch MOA with RRA upper with Fiocchi 223 69gr matchking HPBT . So i will use my RRA upper on song dogs. At 400 yards an under I know the results dog down.

1 year agoSo far this ammo has impressed me. It’s sub MOA @ 100yd with my properly conditioned 1/7 18” PSA barrel. I have heard concerns from some regarding weights and stabilization at extended range. I can only speak to ~600yds where this has remained accurate. Even more, I wish I could’ve grabbed more at the rebate prices.

1 year agoGreat ammo. Good groups and great for pigs with the 90 gr bullet. Told friends about the price but they waited and the special was sold out.

1 year agoI have seen these bulets before in diffront caliburs most revues are good so I bought 10 boxs at a very good price. When I got to the range it all went very wrong. I am a decent marksman with good ammo my 2.24 20in will shoot 1in groups the groups out of this ammo where all over the place. High and left of aim in about a 5 in group to say the least all over the place. These are supposed to be hunting ammo. to me there is nothing worst than wounding an animal becuse of bad shot placemet for a slow death. maybe I got a bad box but I ve been hearing this alot. This is when a deal is not a deal

1 year agoI was more impressed with the 75 grain American Eagle, but this will do fine a hunting round. It opens up 1.5'' to 2'' at 100yds

1 year agoIn summer of 2018 I bought a 20 inch Valkyrie 1:7 barrel (1:6.5 was not available yet) and BCG along with 10 boxes of 90 gr Fusion and 10 boxes of 75 gr american eagle. I used an Adams Arms piston to build the upper and it functioned flawlessly. The lower had an upgraded hiperfire trigger and worked very well with other uppers. Not a single failure after shooting 120 rounds of 224 ammo. The accuracy of the upper/ammo is what caused me to stop shooting the upper. The 90 gr Fusion was grouping at
