2 years agoNOT the real deal 855 green tip. It is steel tipped, but NOT steel core. Kind of a rip-off IMHO. Shoots OK otherwise.

2 years agoZero problems with this ammo. Would not hesitate to buy more nor would I hesitate to recommend it to others. I will admit I got it for a good sale price but it was first quality and there were zero problems with any of the rounds.

2 years agoIn the past Independence has been the 'factory outlet' brand. I ordered 200 rounds to test on 05-29-18. I received exactly what I ordered, Federal Cased M855 rated 3020fps. This ammo would be manufactured at Federal in Independence Mo. Lot: FC17M002-007. This lot is polished and shows the annealing. Head Stamp is FC 17 with the Nato Cross. The primer sealant is red, not the blue green or purple that you would see with LC. I ran through my sample testing for accuracy and it wasnt bad. Its

2 years agoI never had a misfire on my AR until I took the boxes I bought from you guys of Federal independence 5.56. I really regret purchasing this ammo since it is a constant surprise whether your rifle fires a round or not.
