These slugs would be great defending against cracked out grizzly bears. I shot a 1 gallon milk jug full of water at 30 ft away and it flew up 30 ft into the air. Pretty serious recoil even for me. I also like how they're 1 and 1/4 oz compared to 1 oz slugs. It would translate better into deeper penetration due to the added mass.

Like a cannon going off. Shocking punch, bang and fireball. First thing loaded in my home defense 12g then buckshot and alternate back and forth. No doubt this thing would do some serious damage. The last time I was at the range and fired the first one, I stood there in shock like "what just happened?" had to compose myself for a few seconds before even thinking about racking the gun. Got used to it by the 3rd one and then was done after a few more - wears you out very serious. Love it.
