Federal Premium V-Shok Varmint Rimfire Ammo – .17 Hornady Magnum Rimfire – V-Max

I have had good results with Federal ammo in the past and this ammo is no exception very accurate. I have seen other reviews where people have complained about the case splitting this is a semiauto rifle problem when the blowback is not delayed enough for magnum bullets and the shell ejects two quick while charge is exploding this is not the fault of the ammo but a defect of the rifle.

Bought these for varmint control and I don’t regret it. They are very accurate under 125 yards and the results on small pests are devastating. I used one on a sick raccoon and it basically disintegrated it’s skull at 30 yards. Quite messy but very effective when compared to FMJ rounds. Highly recommended for quick results.

Have fired many of these down the barrel and has worked every time. Makes the gophers do back flips compared to the .22cal rounds. Works well on small critters and rabbits.
