Federal Premium Vital Shok 243 Win 85gr Trophy Copper 20 Rounds Ammunition – P243TC1

I've always been a big fan of the Federal Vital Shok ammo. For years I used the Nosler Partition bullets and recently switched to the Trophy Bonded Tip after a friend recommended them... I am extremely please with the results! They pattern well on paper and have never let me down in the field. I shot a 6x5 bull elk at 300 yards and it had more than enough knockdown power to get the job done.

I hunt big game in Arizona and will not use any other ammo. I have successfully harvested 3 bull elk (2 were big 6x6's) with 150 grain Nozler ballistic tips in 7MM Mag. I'm sure there are custom rounds that may perform better but for the money, I choose this one.

High quality, shoots great. Right at 1 moa at 100 yards out to 300 yards haven't tried it at 400 yet. but have no worries. bullet design is practically ideal for big tough vital animals like elk. An email to FEDERAL and tech rep. says reliable expansion down to 1600fps. More than enough performance to take an elk a 400yards with the diminutive 308win. I have full confidence in this load. Ready for elk season. top shelf quality, bullet design and performance at a price point even less than some other premium brands. Thanks Federal!
