1 year agoI’ve tried a many types of rifled slugs, but I’m my shotguns TruBall does the best. I like the 3” as they do better at longer ranges (75-100 yards) than the slower standard 2 3/4 shell. Excellent accuracy paired up with the ghost ring sights on my 590A1. The 3” do have a lot of recoil from the bench when sighting in. Standing or sitting in the field they aren’t that bad, but if you don’t like getting a donkey punch to the shoulder you will prefer the 2 3/4 shell. Both are great, but the 3” slugs shine over the 2 3/4 from 75-100 yards in all brands.

1 year agoThese things are powerful! I always take a Few of tHese with me when i know i’m going into bear country. I have no doubt they aRe capable of stopping any animal trying to do you harm, be it 2 legged or 4. The only downside is the recoil Is Pretty brutal, especially from the bench.
