2 years agoMainly target shooting so far. A really great feeling firearm. It will replace a1911 as a home defense. Brownells had super fast shipping with all the crazy stuff going on. Very well pleased with the purchase!!

2 years agoReally love this pistol, one of the finest Made. I have several other brand pistols made by other fine manufactures but after testing this bad boy out it is my go to gun. Fn hit this one out of the ballpark not to mention it is absolutely beautiful!

2 years agoI've always been a FN pistol fan and the 509C Tactical did not disappoint. I like it so much its going to be my new EDC concealed weapon. I highly recommend getting yourself one also.

2 years agoI was holding off waiting for a sale as these are a bit more money then some of the more common name guns. Like most all units they ran out of stock and I decided as soon as there was one available I would purchase it and I am very glad I did so. The quality and looks and the feel of the FN is great and I am going to add a red dot and I hope to acquire a suppressor for it. It is a bit heavier then I expected but fine. I wish it came with a OWB holster.

2 years agoWanted to upgrade to a more modern home defense weapon. Decided on this Fn and have not regretted it one bit. More expensive but well worth it. Comes with a lot of little extras. Added a Leupold sight and TRL-8AG Streamlight…

2 years agoThis is an awesome pistol and I couldn’t be happier with it. The trigger isn’t the greatest, but it’s probably the best shooting pistol I own. It’s extremely accurate and very easy to shoot.

2 years agoMy FN509C shoots like a dream! The 24 round magazine is fun at the range but I opted to order a 17 round for carrying.

2 years agoExcellent firearm. With the provided accessories they took out a lot of the guess work when it comes to grip comfort and sight optics.

2 years agoThe ability to customize to your liking is great and all of the parts are provided to put on a vast number of red dot sights. Comes with 2x24rnd clips and a 17rnd clip. The case is nice, and even the instruction manual is of higher quality than other items or firearms I've purchased in the past. Excellent grip, shooting in 110° heat in the desert I had sweaty palms but a solid grip on the gun thanks to its texture. Solid gun. Fun to shoot. Thanks Palmetto for getting this out to me very promptly even with such increased national demand.

2 years agoVery well made gun. I’ve always been a fan of FN. Handles all different brands of ammo and cycles and fires like a dream

2 years agoTrigger is terrible: slow, indefinite stop, scratchy, heavy pull worst I've ever seen. When I called FN they told me to get an aftermarket trigger. This gun is far too expensive to require an aftermarket trigger when compared to less expensive pistols like my CZ and Glock. The trigger is so bad that the other aspects of the pistol--threaded barrel, different mags, FDE color--diminish in importance.

2 years agoAmazing firearm! My first FN and I couldn’t be more happy. Shoots great and is great as my EDC also. I’ll be buying more from FN!!!

2 years agoAmazing quality. Trigger is a bit gritty but overall slide is buttery smooth and quality feels amazing

2 years agoLove PSA!! Really fast shipping to my ffl, only took about 5 days and I had my gun in hand. Oh and it’s an awesome gun. I was worried about going from using a red dot to iron sights but this gun is so accurate so no worries. Also love the 24 rd magazine for the range. Heads up the 24 rd magazine feels “loose” when you go to shoot your first round after that it feels normal. All around great gun and buying experience.

2 years agoShoots great! You can feel the quality in this firearm. Slide serrations are nice and sharp, but not overly so. As accurate as I am. I’m not a huge fan of the trigger, as others online have said it feels gritty on the uptake. If it doesn’t break in within 2k rounds then I’ll consider going with an aftermarket
