The FN 510 MRD is the latest defensive pistol from FN Herstal chambered in the popular 10mm Auto cartridge. The pistol features a 15-round standard capacity with the familiar ergonomics of the 500 series of FN Herstal pistols and comes optics-ready with a milled slide and suppressor-height sights. It is ideal for personal protection as both an everyday carry pistol and as a hunting or outdoors sidearm against bears and other dangerous trail predators.
This model features an all-black finish and includes two 15-round magazines. A premium zippered case, two frame backstraps, and four optic mounting plates are also included.

1 year agoThis gun does cost a lot compared to other offerings, but it is definitely a big bang for your buck. First 10mm I have shot and I already want to go back to the range to shoot it more. Fully ambidextrous, fantastic trigger, good sights for a red dot and suppressor, and just a lot of fun. The grip is big so people with smaller hands will have a hard time, even with the small backstrap attached. Fully loaded magazines do need extra muscle to seat into the grip with the slide closed. If you want to stick with just one 10mm gun, this is probably the gun for you.

1 year agoShoots straight, good trigger. Put 200 rds through it first time at the range. Will be my bear gun for hiking / camping and out west hunting.

1 year agoLet me start by stating that I now have 3x 10MM pistols. The first, a Smith & Wesson Revolver is amazing. That purchase made me want to keep expanding my 10MM collection. The second, a Springfield Elite XDM, also a great pistol. I loved the trigger, but I had some issues with the hard sights. The 3rd is the FN 510. Saved the best for last. One of my requirements was that I could shoot 200+grain bear rounds without jamming. I also looked at 10MM pistols from Glock, Smith & Wesson (M&P), Sig,

1 year agoThe gun feels great in the hand and seems smaller than it is. Sights are excellent. It has shot everything I've fed it. I have two other 10mm guns but this is the one that I'll use on my hiking trips.

1 year agoFantastic smooth shooting 10mm. The ergonomics work good for me and it has a good crisp trigger. Best 10mm I have owned.
