Very nice 45 with the most ambidextrous features I've seen. Handles and shoots like a 9MM. Trigger pull is a little long for me but can be adjusted.

I've had the FNX45 for about 2 yrs now and have about 5000 rounds through it. Only gripe is the trigger. I haven't found any aftermarket for this model.

Such a nice gun for the price the round count is incredible. My step dad has been in law enforcement his whole life and he has high dollar 1911’s/guns and he thought it was a very well thought out tactical gun. Looking for a 45 with threaded barrel to work with a suppressor, thinking this was best high capacity semiautomatic to do the job. Purchased a used pistol in “ very good” condition and it looks great and barely used.

I have over 30 handguns from different manufacturers. The 1911 .45 is my favorite handgun so buying the FNX was a stretch. At first I didn't like it but when I added the silencer and optic I fell in love. It is amazing how the whole package makes the perfect gun. 15 rounds of .45 with three mags and a gun that wants to shoot is nirvana. This is the king of my handguns now. This comes in an amazing soft case that holds the gun the three mags my silencer and spare parts. I love everything about it.

No regrets buying this thing. I wanted the FNX for a long time. It was super convenient that my local PSA store had one in stock AND they had a try before you buy option. So I went and shot it on the pistol range. It was love at first shot basically. The idea was to put a suppressor, red dot and a laser/light combo on it and make it a tacticool range toy. I wish I didn’t wait so long to buy this! The FNX is an excellent firearm. Very accurate and shoot better than a “combat” handgun. The recoil feels closer to 9mm than 45. It really shines with a suppressor. Throw a red dot on and you have one awesome package! AGAIN Regret not buying years ago. Why are you still reading buy one!

Mag springs are weak, and follower is sticky and does not slide smoothly (for all three mags that came with it). This leads to some FTF/FTE. Slide spring is too strong for generic ammo to keep the slide open at the last round, but works well with high quality ammo. Overall not a bad gun, but at this price point quality should be higher.

First and only 45 you will ever need. Recoil is VERY manageable and it is very accurate if you do everything right. you cannot out shoot this pistol. it is a fantastic piece. would recommend.
