My department first tested the FNS for a local FN law enforcement dealer two years ago. The most noticeable feature of the pistol is the full sized frame under a compact slide. If you are familiar with Glock the FNS is similar to a G23 slide mated to a G22 frame. However the FNS has a better trigger better ergonomics is 100% ambidextrous and has proven to be 100% reliable. The pistol offered here is the law enforcement version and has no thumb safety. It is superior to the "civilian" version and

I have an FNS-40C and my wife has the FNS-9C which are basically the compact versions of this gun. The FN striker fired pistols are exceptionally accurate and dependable. I have put about 300 rounds through my -40C and I can say this. The "compact" model of this very gun is more accurate than my full-sized Glock G22 with aftermarket barrel and Trijicon HD night sights. Not only is the FN more accurate but is actually more comfortable to shoot. Recoil on the compact .40 seems to be less than

Whats not to like? Palmetto scores again free shipping sales price and a new stock on some other goodies I've been waiting for. As far as quality goes I'll have to defer to more experienced riflemen. Just ordered mine today keeping in mind the " Gestapo" is no longer waiting in the wings.

First and foremost I'm a Glockaholic. Having said that I purchased the stainless steel and black slide version of these pistols because of the value. I always run 300-400 rounds through a new gun at one time to break it in and function check. While doing this I get the added benefit of becoming fairly acclimated to the firearm and how it runs and believe me this one will run. All 3 mags worked as expected. Bottom line: Buy it before it is out of stock!

I love this pistol. It is my first FN product and will definitely not be my last. Over 300 rounds through it so far with no problems at all. $369.00 is a steal for this firearm. I have been very impressed by this pistol so far and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if the funds were available!!

UNDERRATED BRADE IN THE PRIVATE CONSUMER MARKET. FNS IS AS GOOD MOST OF THE OTHER HIGH QUALITY BRADES. MAJOR VALUE FOR THE DOLLARS SPENT. AS GOOD AS IT GETS. LOW RECOIL FOR A 40 MAKE ME WANTS MORE. I EXPECT THIS ONE WILL LAST A LIFETIME.

This is the "DEAL OF 2016". For the price this is the best gun sold on the Stryker fired market. JUst a brand new FNH cold hammer forged barrel is a couple of hundred dollars. It's 100% reliable and its exceedingly accurate. With 3 mags u cannot go wrong. Buy this pistol while PSA has it for sale. YOU WILl not be disappointed!!!!!

Great price at 320.00.....17.00 shipping but still a good deal and you get a free bag from FN. Have bought several guns from psa and never had any issues.

This is by far the best value in a handgun! I bought one and carried it to the range where myself and 4 buddies shot it. They all bought one the next week the only problem was we paid $359.99 for our FNS. Well when they came down to 319.99 I bought another one. I have had zero problems out of either of them and none of my buddies have any complaints. This is a very good quality and at an even better price point. If you are looking for a gun similar to this I would buy the FNS40 you can't go wrong with it. I also own some other FN guns they are all top quality and great shooters.

I have been looking at these for months and finally pulled the trigger. Awesome deal...and I got lucky and was able to get the model with a safety. I put 160 rounds through it on first trip and it performed flawlessly..with 3 different brands one being hollow points. Best gun deal and bargain that I have had and best shooting and lowest recoil 40 cal. that I have shot. Don't wait to purchase this gun you will only regret not buying it sooner! Palmetto did their part as well...

As of now I've only fondled it @ the FFL 3 more working days to go so Wed the 6th maybe? Now with that said what is up with the free gear! Range bag which was a deal breaker for me anyway. The FN site won't work and the application needs to be done prior to the 8th. Anyway Thanks Palmetto and FN for a quality pistol at a good price.

I have to agree with everyone that reviewed this handgun with the exception that mine was ether a used handgun or they used black powder in the bullet that was shot at the factory dirty as hell around the firing pin and multiple shots at that six barrel rings around the barrel from the slide I know I should have not transferred it and sent it back but I hate waiting on a gun and to send it back and wait again would be to much so I will settle for the fact that I bought a used gun for $319 so I give it four stars I will say in the years I have been dealing with PSA this is a first

FN makes awesome guns. At this price you cannot go wrong believe me. The recoil is comparable to several 9mm that I have owned in my opinion. I would love to have another one but can't come up with a good reason to justify having 2 of the same gun when I can only shoot one at a time. But if I found some extra cash sitting around I know where it would go and that is to PSA. You can't buy this gun for this low of a price even thought FN at their Pro Shop.

Pistol which looked and operated as a quality 40 cal auto should at any price. My tiff is with the one that said a free range bag would be included after you jumped thru a few hoops 3 DAYS FROM NOW THE OFFER IS NULL AND VOID the PDF form isn't working or offered anymore no one wants to MAN up and say why or if anything will be done about it PSA or FN email or call is just a waist of time!!!! Hello Kristin sorry to trouble you but your free range bag offer was a deal maker on FNS vs CZ

I received this FNS .40 in a timely manner from PSA and took it to the range soon thereafter for a 300 round workout using WWB 165 gr fmj AmFederal 180 gr fmj and Rem Golden Sabre 165 gr jhp. No failures of any kind and I found the weapon to be very accurate and soft shooting for a .40. Fit and finish is excellent and the design and construction is quite stout. Trigger is smooth and predictable. Sights are high profile. Really nothing to do to this gun out of the box.

The gun is nice. PSA has the best prices!!!! FNH stated that they had promotional gear available if you buy there product. They crawfished 10 days before the promotion ended and left me high and dry even though their ads never mentioned "while supplies last"(but that is the excuse that I received from FNH marketing). I value people and companies on there word. If FNH breaks there word on a promotional item I hate to know what their warranty folks are like! I pray that the FNS40 is what

I reviewed this pistol back in May of this year. Now I have over 600 rounds through my FNS-40 and am still extremely happy with my purchase. So happy in fact that I bought a second one when they went on sale again. This is by far my favorite handgun out of my collection even though I've never been a huge fan of the .40 caliber cartridge over the years. The free range bag that came with the first purchase was very nice. Unfortunately FN ran out of these promotional items before I made the

Bought this gun on sale for $319 at PSA. You wont buy a better gun than this for that price. Very low recoil for a 40cal. and has a smooth trigger an reset. Now they just need to put the FN 9MM on sale. Thanks PSA always great deals and prices on guns an ammo.

First off I've tried and have quite a few of these manufacturers firearms. KimberGlockSpringfieldBerettaRemingtonSig SauerSTIH&Kand now FN Herstal just to name a few. I've put around 200 rounds through it with no FTE or FTF just using Walmart Winchester brass ball ammo. This gun shoots good and the recoil isn't bad at all. I use the Shoot n C 4" reactive targets and was able to keep two full mags within that target. N that's accurate enough for me. If a gun doesn't make it through certain tests
