Made with serious respect to John Browning Classic design, The MCP35 pays homage to one of the most widely used military handgun designs in the World. Built on a steel frame and slide, the MCP35 boasts a 15+1 capacity in a staggered column magazine. . Built on a steel frame and slide. Originally designed as a military pistol, it necessitated extreme accuracy and the Girsan MC P35 does not disappoint. The short recoil 9mm, 4 5/8 barrel, along with the slide, allow for quick second shot resets, getting the shooter on target faster. The rear sight is a windage drift adjustable sight and the front is a dovetail sight. The traditional slim trigger allows for a short trigger reset and is accessible even while wearing gloves and the serrated ring hammer provides a positive grip while cocking. Enhanced external controls include external extractor, ambidextrous safety, and magazine disconnect safety.

1 year agoThis gun is very nice and the build looks great. Trigger and fire controls are great. Sights are again very nice. The only issue i have is that upon cleaning the barrel i found heavy rustlike deposits. Possibly a shipping protectant but more likely this appears to be rust. I imagine due to test shooting with bi metal jacket bullets. May i suggest To girsan and eaa to either test fire with copper bullets or clean barrel well after testing if using bi metal jacket bullets. Otherwise the best bang for the buck if you are looking for an updated hi power style pistol.

1 year agofRONT SIGHT INSERT FLEW OFF ALTHOUGH eaa DID SEND ME A NEW fIBER OPTIC ROD TO FIX IT. tRIGGER PULL IS AROUND 7 POUNDS AND NOT SMOOTH AND THE SAFETY FEELS MUSHY. i STILL LIKE IT AND AM HOPING THE TRIGGER GETS BETTER WITH MORE USE.

1 year agoRan a hundred rounds through - had one failure to feed a cheap FMJ. More annoying was the failure to lock back on any magazine including the oem mag, mecgar 15 rounders (who makes the oem mag) or any of my other hipower mags. It was accurate, though. 1 year agoThe finish is great, trigger pull weight on my sample is 4.5lb without creep. The pistol has all the modern update like the current plastic ones but in a proven design of the Hi-power. I personally prefer the update it has i over my other Browning P35 copy, the SA35. I plan to purchase another in the form of MCP35 Match. 1 year agoThis is a great buy way less expensive than the fn or Springfield and has more features. I’ve only been to the range once but it swallowed everything I gave it. You have to get this pistol

1 year agoBought this last week, it's a good shooter I like the pistol however there are some issues, after my first mag my front fiber optic fell out, the trigger has a extremely long pull for a 3.5ib trigger, and has some play in the slide. 1 year agoSo this is a very well made, HiPower clone to make JMB very proud. Fit and Finish is amazing, handles well out of the box. Only issue I had was that the dry-fire laser cartridge did not fit and am working with Strikeman to remedy the situation. Overall very happy with the OPS version of this pistol.
